The Forge Island 4 Update Guide, Shogun Location, New Boss, Ores & Monsters!

Forge Island 4 is finally live, and this update adds a brand-new island filled with quests, stronger enemies, fresh ores, and a locked Shogun boss fight. If you just entered the new world and feel overwhelmed by the number of quests and locations, this guide will walk you through everything step by step so you can progress efficiently. Everything here takes place inside Roblox, so make sure you redeem any available in-game codes first before spending your currency. Main Spawn Area – Pickaxes, Shop & Core NPCs

When you spawn into Forge Island 4, walk straight to reach the main hub. This is where most of the important NPCs are located. Here’s what you’ll find:

• New Pickaxes Shop – The most expensive pickaxe is Kitsune, costing around $3.3 million. It appears to be the strongest option right now.
• Weapon Start & Recycle NPC
• Maria – Potion shop
• Enhancer
• Multiple Daily Quest NPCs

Tip: If you use the Goblin bonus before buying expensive gear, you can save a good amount of money. Skipping it can cost you extra cash. This update heavily focuses on quests. There are at least seven duty quests plus additional side and daily quests.

Shogun Quest Location (Required for Boss Access)

You cannot access the new boss immediately. First, you must complete four Shogun quests.

How to Find Shogun

1. Return to spawn.
2. Walk straight.
3. Keep moving toward the right side path.
4. Continue forward past the hill and rock formations.

You’ll eventually find the Shogun NPC. Talk to him and accept his quest line. The first quest includes objectives like defeating specific enemies such as Mountain Ape and completing resource tasks. You must finish Shogun Quest 4 before the boss area unlocks.

Bamboo Forest – Ores & Enemies

From the central path:

• Walk straight.
• Turn left toward the Bamboo Forest.

Here you’ll find:

• Bamboo Pebbles
• Bamboo Rocks
• Mountain Ape enemies

Some quests require mining up to 50 Bamboo Pebbles, so prepare for farming. Enemies in this area are manageable, but farming takes time.

There are also Daily Quest NPCs nearby.

Boss Location (Locked Area)

From the Bamboo Rock area:

1. Walk backward toward the open path.
2. Head to the correct right-side route (avoid the cave on the opposite side).
3. Continue forward.

You’ll reach the boss entrance. If you interact with it too early, a message will appear saying you must progress further in the Shogun quest line. Complete Shogun Quest 4 first.

Holy Tree Area – High-Level Zone

From the boss area:

• Move toward the upper path.
• Climb carefully (Demon race players may struggle with ladder movement).
• Continue forward into the next zone.

This area contains:

• Hana Pebbles
• Hana Rocks
• Brute-type enemies
• Additional elite enemies

Enemies here are tanky. If your gear is not upgraded, fights may take longer. There are also glowing rocks and stronger mobs scattered throughout. You’ll also encounter a mini-boss/elite enemy further ahead.

Jade Zone (Currently Limited)

Near the green tree area, there appears to be a Jade zone. At the moment, it seems partially unfinished or locked depending on progression. Some players report interaction issues with certain NPCs here. This area may expand in a future patch.

Some recipes are available directly in the forge, while others likely drop from monsters or the Shogun boss.

Important Notes

• Several balance nerfs were applied in this update.
• Some builds may feel weaker than before.
• Heavy armor reduces movement speed significantly, so consider switching gear while exploring.
• Guild systems and PvP features are not fully available yet and may arrive in a future update.

Forge Island 4 is heavily quest-driven and focuses on structured progression. Your main goal should be: Upgrade pickaxe and gear. Complete Shogun quests. Farm Bamboo and Holy Tree materials. Unlock and defeat the Shogun boss. Craft new high-tier weapons. If you follow this path, you’ll clear the update smoothly without getting stuck. Take your time farming ores, prepare for tougher enemies in the Holy Tree zone, and prioritize unlocking the boss for the best rewards in The Forge.
