1. Maki and Yuta

Maki and Yuta stand out as one of the strongest DPS and support combinations available. Their already impressive damage becomes even stronger when paired together. Yuta’s Domain, Unlimited Swords, greatly boosts their performance, while Maki’s Sumo Stance adds even more power during difficult waves.

In the toughest stages of the game, this duo performs exceptionally well and fits into almost any team setup. One of Yuta’s biggest strengths is his Domain, which allows for an infinite stall against enemies. However, to fully maximize their damage potential, it’s highly recommended to pair them with a unit that has an extinguish ability.

2. Rias and Issei

Rias and Issei are currently among the top buffer units in the game. They can provide up to +120% damage and reduce SPA by 45%, along with applying two random damage-over-time effects. While their main role is boosting other units, they also deal solid standalone damage. This makes them useful not just for support, but also for defending in the latest and most challenging stages.

3. Haumea

Haumea delivers some of the highest DPS in the game. She applies debuffs, slows, and stuns to enemies while also granting the entire team immunity to stuns. Although her additional team buff isn’t extremely strong, it still adds value. She is also very affordable, making her one of the best early placement units, second only to Yuji.
