Island 4 has officially arrived in The Forge, introducing a brand-new region called Crimson Sakura Island. This update is not just about rare ores and mining spots. It also brings a major combat-focused questline from the Shogun that leads directly to the island’s main boss: Asura Incarnate. Before you can enter the boss arena, you must complete a series of quests. This guide covers the Shogun’s exact location, all Island 4 quests, and how to unlock and enter the Asura Incarnate fight.

How to Find the Shogun in Crimson Sakura Island

The Shogun is located in a large temple area known as Shogun’s Island. Steps to Reach the Shogun:

1. Explore Crimson Sakura Island until you spot a large temple roof in the distance.
2. Cross a small river bridge.
3. After crossing, the environment will shift from a red-themed area to a greener zone.
4. Continue forward until you reach a temple gate guarded by lion statues.
5. Enter the Hall of the Shogun inside the temple.

This is where you receive the questline required to unlock the boss.

All Shogun Island 4 Quests

There are 5 total quests. You only need to complete at least 4 quests to unlock the boss arena. However, finishing all 5 provides extra EXP and gold.

Quest 1 – Ape Menace

Objective:

• Defeat 5 Mountain Apes

Location:

• Bamboo Cave (near Maria’s Shop in the rocky mountain area)

Mountain Apes are strong for an early quest. Make sure your weapon is upgraded before attempting this.

Quest 2 – Savage Lands

Objective:

• Defeat 15 Mountain Apes
• Defeat 5 Savage Apes

Location:

• Bamboo Cave

Savage Apes are significantly stronger and spawn less frequently than Mountain Apes.

Tip: If you struggle to find Savage Apes, consider using a private server to control spawn consistency.

Quest 3 – Warrior Beasts

Objective:

• Defeat 30 Samurai Apes
• Defeat 15 Monk Pandas

This is where difficulty starts to increase noticeably. Samurai Apes have high damage and strong HP pools.

Recommended Strategy:

• Equip your strongest weapon.
• Buy HP and damage potions from Maria’s Shop.
• Play in a public server to team up with other players.

As long as you deal damage, kills will count for everyone involved.

Quest 4 – Securing the Surface

Objective:

• Defeat 35 Samurai Apes
• Defeat 20 Monk Pandas

This is essentially a harder version of Quest 3. Grinding in public servers is highly recommended for faster completion. Once Quest 4 is completed, you unlock access to the boss arena.

Quest 5 – The Cave’s Maw (Optional but Recommended)

Objective:

• Defeat 15 Brute Onis

Location:

• Holy Tree → enter Holy Cave

This quest is not required to unlock the boss, but it offers strong EXP and gold rewards, making it worth completing.

How to Enter the Asura Incarnate Boss Arena

After completing at least 4 Shogun quests, follow these steps:

1. Travel to the Shrine of Rootwarden.
2. Along the way, you will pass through Aurelia Hall and Bamboo Grove.
3. After exiting Bamboo Grove, take the first right turn.
4. Look for a golden light in the distance.

Once you approach the golden light, you will see a boss queue option. When the timer finishes, you will be teleported to the Temple of Asura Incarnate to begin the fight.

Tips to Defeat Asura Incarnate

• Use a high-damage or semi-tank build.
• Place your Totem immediately after entering the arena.
• Fighting with a team is far more effective than solo attempts.
• If you die, you must wait before re-entering.
• The more players attacking, the faster the boss HP drops.

Proper preparation is key. Make sure your gear, potions, and build are optimized before joining the queue.
