The latest update in Fish It introduced a brand-new emote system, giving players a fun way to express themselves in-game. These emotes are short character animations that you can trigger anytime—well, almost anytime. Currently, there are 7 emotes available. Some are free and can be unlocked using in-game currency, while others are locked behind a Robux gacha system. Below is a complete breakdown of every emote, how to unlock them, and how to use them properly. Also check out our Fish It Codes for more rewards!

How to Use Emotes in Fish It

Once you unlock an emote, using it is simple:

  1. Click the emote button at the top of your screen.
  2. Open your emote menu.
  3. Add the emote to a slot.
  4. Select it during gameplay to activate the animation.

There is one restriction: you cannot use emotes while actively fishing. If you try, the game will block the action. You must stop fishing first before performing any animation.

All Emotes in Fish It & How to Get Them

At the moment, the game features one Emote Crate and two island-exclusive free emotes. Here’s the full list:

Emotes from Emote Crate 1 (Robux Gacha)

These five emotes are obtained through the paid gacha system:

  • Cupid – 8% drop chance
  • Leap – 14% drop chance
  • Day Dreaming – 18% drop chance
  • Falling – 20% drop chance
  • Resting – 28% drop chance

All five are inside Emote Crate 1, and your chances depend on RNG.

Free Emotes (No Robux Required)

There are currently two free emotes you can unlock using in-game currency:

1. Rose Offering

  • Location: Heartfelt Island NPC
  • Cost: 10,000 Valentine Coins
  • Note: Time-limited

This emote shows your character presenting a red rose. To earn it, you must fish on Heartfelt Island to collect Valentine Coins. Once the Valentine event ends and the island disappears, this emote will likely become unavailable.

2. Sitting

  • Location: Fisherman Island NPC
  • Cost: 10,000 Regular Coins

You can find the NPC at the back of Fisherman Island. Regular Coins are earned simply by fishing normally, making this the easiest emote to unlock.

How to Get Emotes in Fish It

There are two main methods: free and paid.

1. Free Method (In-Game Currency)

If you prefer not to spend Robux, focus on island NPC rewards.

  • Fish on Fisherman Island to collect Regular Coins.
  • Fish on Heartfelt Island to earn Valentine Coins.
  • Save 10,000 coins and purchase directly from the NPC.

This method takes time but guarantees the emote without relying on luck.

2. Paid Method (Robux Gacha)

To unlock the other five emotes, you must use the Emote Crate system.

Pricing:

  • 1 Pull – 59 Robux
  • 5 Pulls – 295 Robux

To access it:

  1. Click the Emote icon at the top of your screen.
  2. Select “Buy Emotes.”
  3. Choose the number of pulls you want.

Since it’s a gacha system, you are not guaranteed a specific emote unless you get lucky.

The emote system adds personality and fun interactions to Fish It. If you want guaranteed rewards, go for the free island emotes. If you enjoy RNG mechanics and want the full collection, the Robux gacha is the only way to unlock the remaining five. As new updates roll out, more emote crates are likely to be added. For now, these seven are the complete list available in the game.
