How to Get Sukuna in Sailor Piece Unlock Guide
Unlocking Sukuna in Sailor Piece is not a quick process. It requires boss farming, item collection, trait management, and an additional upgrade quest after you obtain the spec. Many players underestimate how long the grind can take, especially because several required materials have low drop rates. If you’re planning to unlock Sukuna — also known in-game as “The Strongest in History” — this guide explains every requirement, the fastest farming methods, and how to unlock his Domain properly. Step 1: Find the Sukuna NPC

First, locate the Sukuna NPC on the island. Interact with him to see the full list of requirements needed to unlock the spec.
To obtain Sukuna, you need:
- 20x Awakened Cursed Fingers (must be consumed)
- 1x Disgraced One Title
- 7x Vessel Rings
- 3x Malevolent Souls
- 1x Cursed Flesh
This is only the first phase of the grind.
Step 2: Farming Awakened Cursed Fingers & Materials
You must defeat the Sukuna boss multiple times to obtain:
- Awakened Cursed Fingers
- Vessel Rings
- Cursed Flesh
- Malevolent Souls
You can summon the stronger version of Sukuna using Malevolent Keys.
Important Farming Tip
Do NOT farm the normal Sukuna boss for Malevolent Keys.
Malevolent Keys actually drop from the Level 7000 NPCs located around the island.
This is much more efficient than repeatedly killing the boss just for keys.
Step 3: Normal vs Medium Difficulty
The Sukuna boss has different difficulty options.
- Medium Difficulty: 500 million HP
- Normal Difficulty: Lower HP, similar drops
Since the drop rates do not significantly improve on Medium, farming on Normal difficulty is faster and more efficient. Faster kills = more runs = better overall results.
Expect this grind to take time. The Awakened Cursed Fingers alone require 20 drops, and you must consume all 20 before progressing.
Step 4: Unlocking the Sukuna Spec
Once you have:
- Consumed 20 Awakened Cursed Fingers
- Equipped the Disgraced One Title
- Collected 7 Vessel Rings
- Collected 3 Malevolent Souls
- Obtained Cursed Flesh
Return to the NPC and craft the spec.
After unlocking, you gain access to:
- Slash-based M1 attacks
- Z, X, C, and V abilities
- Strong AoE damage
- Fast cooldowns
For best performance, reset your stats and invest mainly into:
- Melee
- Power
- Defense
Step 5: Unlocking Sukuna’s Domain
Getting Sukuna is not the final step. To unlock his Domain, you must complete another requirement set:
- Shrine Domain Shard
- 6x Cursed Talisman
- 2x Infinity Essence
How to Get Infinity Essence
Infinity Essence drops from the Gojo boss (Strongest of Today).
You will likely need to defeat this boss multiple times before getting enough.
How to Get Cursed Talisman
Cursed Talismans drop from regular enemies on the island. These are much easier to farm compared to boss materials.
Step 6: Trait Requirement (Very Important)
To activate Sukuna’s Domain, you must have the Malevolent Trait.
If you do not have it:
- Use Trait Rerolls
- Roll until you get Malevolent
Without this trait, the Domain cannot be completed.
Final Domain Unlock
Once you have:
- Required Shrine materials
- Malevolent Trait
- Enough Malevolent Souls
Talk to the Sukuna NPC again to fully unlock the Domain.
The Domain grants:
- 30% damage boost
- F move unlocked
- Massive AoE damage
- Extremely strong burst potential
This upgrade significantly increases your boss-killing speed.
Sukuna is one of the strongest specs in Sailor Piece, but the grind is heavy. The key to unlocking him efficiently is: Farming Malevolent Keys from island NPCs, Running Sukuna boss on Normal difficulty, Managing trait rerolls carefully, & Preparing for the additional Domain quest! If you stay consistent and farm efficiently, you’ll eventually unlock both the spec and the Domain. Once fully upgraded, Sukuna becomes one of the most powerful boss-melting styles in the game.
