The first major update for Garden Horizons is almost here. Updates like this usually bring new features, seeds, balance changes, and sometimes surprise events such as admin abuse. If you are not prepared, you could miss limited opportunities that only happen before or during patch rollout. Also check out our Garden Horizon Codes for more rewards!
Most players focus only on what’s coming next. The smarter move is to maximize everything that still exists right now. Pre-update periods are often the best time to stack money, farm mutations, secure rare seeds, and prepare for potential item removals. If you handle this properly, you can enter the update with a serious advantage. Below are 10 important things you should do before the update goes live.
1. Check the Update Schedule and Join Early
If the update is scheduled for 6:30 PM, log in at least 30–60 minutes earlier. Staying AFK inside a server is better than missing early events. Admin abuse often starts shortly before or during the update.

2. Join the Official Discord Server
- Run seed stock voting
- Drop secret codes
- Share sneak peeks
- Announce surprise admin abuse
- Post urgent updates
It is the fastest source of information.
3. Enable Stock Notification Discord
Separate from the main Discord, stock notification servers alert you when specific seeds (like cherry, cabbage, or potato) are available. This is extremely helpful for limited or fast-selling items.
4. Redeem All Available Codes
Do not wait. Redeem every active code before they expire:
- 358
- thankyou
- gift
- Dawn
- Dawnfruit
Some codes require joining the Roblox community group of the game creator first.
5. Complete All Quests (Prioritize Dawn Seed Pack)
Focus on farming Dawn Seed Pack and Gardener Seed Pack. There is a possibility certain packs may disappear after the update. Dawn Seed Pack contains rare plants like Dawn Blazem. If it gets removed, that plant could become an OG collectible with higher value. If you have enough money, use the quest reset method to farm more packs.
6. Prepare Your Best Crops for Admin Abuse
Before updates, admin abuse often triggers heavy mutation spam. Best crops to prepare:
- Single harvest crops (cabbage, wheat)
- Nearly fully grown plants
- Closely planted crops to maximize lightning area effect
More mutations mean more profit.
7. Be Careful with the Favorite Feature
There are reports that favorited plants might not receive new mutations. To stay safe:
- Avoid favoriting during admin abuse
- Do not press harvest unless you are ready
Until developers confirm or fix this, play cautiously.
8. Use the Sprinkle Method Properly
Sprinkle farming remains one of the most reliable money strategies.
Tips:
- Combine multi-harvest crops (cherry, potato) with single harvest crops
- Plant closely together for lightning coverage
- Make sure all crops are within sprinkle range
This significantly increases total selling value.
9. Optimize the Shovel Method
Use shovel strategically to reroll crop size.
Steps:
- Shovel the plant
- Confirm removal
- Replant
- Repeat until you get a larger size
Look for larger fruit and proper red coloring on the fruit itself (not just the tree). Gold variants provide even better returns.
10. Save Money for the Trowel Feature
The upcoming update will introduce a Trowel feature that allows you to move plants.
Estimated price may be around 80,000 or possibly higher. On top of that, new seeds and event quests may also require additional spending.
Entering the update with strong cash reserves gives you instant flexibility.
Should You Use Tiny Task for AFK Farming?
Some players use Tiny Task to record repetitive buying and farming actions. It works more like an auto clicker than an exploit script. While many players have used it without bans, there is always some risk. Use it at your own discretion.
Preparation before an update is often more important than the update itself. By finishing quests, stacking rare seed packs, preparing mutation setups, and saving money for new features, you give yourself a clear advantage. Instead of reacting after the update drops, position yourself ahead of it. If done properly, you won’t just survive the update — you’ll dominate Garden Horizons.
