All Fisch Sprout Quest Fish Location & How to Get Them!

The Sprout Quest in Fisch is one of the longest and most demanding progression chains in the game. To unlock the Tranquility Rod, you must collect a long list of specific fish — most of them with rare mutations. Some require special rods. Others need events, weather conditions, or even puzzle completion with another player.

1. Lunar Clownfish (x3)

Location: Roslit Bay – Coral Reef
Required Mutation: Lunar

How to get it:

• Catch normal Clownfish in bulk
• Appraise until Lunar appears
• Limited rods can roll Lunar
• Very low natural chance during Moonlit Mirage

Best strategy: Mass catch and AFK appraisal.

2. Mythical Clownfish

Location: Roslit Bay

How to get it:

• Use the Mythical Rod (30% boost)
• Fish during Rainbow weather (15%)
• Appraisal is possible but inefficient

Mythical Rod is the most consistent option.

3. Lost Blue Tang

Location: Roslit Bay
Required Mutation: Lost

How to get it:

• Use the Lost Rod (36% Lost chance)
• Craft Lost Rod via Ancient Archives materials

If you haven’t unlocked Ancient Archives yet, trading for this fish is much faster.

4. Exploded Great White Shark

Location: Shark Hunt Event
Required Mutation: Exploded

How to get it:

• Use Boom Ball Rod (50% Exploded chance)
• Unlock Boom Ball Rod in Desolate Deep
• Explode yourself around 25 times to access the secret room
• Rod costs 50,000

Tip: Catch and release repeatedly until the mutation appears.

5. Silver Great Hammerhead Shark

Location: Shark Hunt Event
Required Mutation: Silver

Only obtainable via appraisal. There’s no rod that guarantees Silver, so expect grinding.

6. Abyssal Shortfin Mako (x3)

Location: Forsaken Shores
Required Mutation: Abyssal

Mutation methods:

• Rod of the Depths (30%)
• Abyssal Spectre Rod (25%)
• Abyssal Enchant (20%)

Rod of the Depths offers the highest consistency.

7. Aurora Dumbo Octopus

Location: Roslit Bay

Mutation methods:

• Aurora Rod (30% during Aurora event, 15% outside event)
• Aurora Bait (30%)
• 1% chance during natural Aurora

Stacking Aurora Rod + Aurora weather gives best results.

8. Sparkling Butterfly Fish (x3)

Location: Roslit Bay
Required Mutation: Sparkling

Methods:

• Appraisal (1%)
• Destiny Rod (10%)
• Seraphic Rod (8% with mastery)
• Blessed or Glittered enchants

Most players rely on AFK appraisal due to simplicity.

9. Midas Golden Seahorse

Location: Forsaken Shores (Backside abundance area)

Use the Midas Rod for a guaranteed 100% Midas mutation.

Location: Moosewood (Daily Shop area)

Requires:

• Heavens Rod (35% Heavenly chance)
• Completion of Northern Expedition unlock chain

Location: Crystal Cove – Waterfall

Same Aurora mutation methods as Dumbo Octopus:

• Aurora Bait
• Natural Aurora

Weather timing matters heavily here.

13. Lunar Stringed Grouper

Location: Crystal Cove – Waterfall
Required Mutation: Lunar

Same Lunar methods as Clownfish:

• Bulk catch and appraise
• Moonlit Mirage (very low natural chance)

Appraisal is still the most consistent.

14. Midas Spotted Drum

Location: Tidefall → Crowned Ruins

Use Midas Rod for guaranteed Midas mutation. This one is simple once you have the rod.

15. Heavenly Siren Singer

Location: Atlantis → Ethereal Abyss

Requirements:

• Complete puzzle with 2 players
• Access Ethereal Abyss
• Use Heavens Rod

This is one of the hardest steps in the entire Sprout Quest. Coordination is required, and Heavenly mutation RNG still applies.

Rarity: Legendary

Use Mythical Rod to increase odds. Pure grind but no puzzle required.
