Where to Start – Dark Forest Island (First Sea)
All new content for Dante and Vergil is located in the Dark Forest Island in the First Sea. Once you arrive, your first step is to interact with the Infernal Warden NPC.
Infernal Warden Quest
- Accept the quest
- Kill 50 mobs on Dark Forest Island
- Receive 1 Devil Trigger Fragment as reward
You will need 10 Devil Trigger Fragments to obtain the soul, so expect to repeat this quest multiple times.
Grinding tip:
- Farm mobs in groups for faster clears
- Use AoE builds if available
- Stay near spawn areas to minimize travel time
Twin Fate Overseer – Getting the Twin Devil Core
After farming fragments, head toward the bridge area on the island. There you will find the Twin Fate Overseer NPC. Complete this NPC’s questline to obtain:
- Twin Devil Core
This item is required later for awakening, so do not skip this step.
Devil Fragment Shop
There is a dedicated shop where you can use your Devil Trigger Fragments. From this shop you can purchase:
- Dante & Vergil Soul
- Crates (used for additional materials)
Make sure you farm enough fragments before spending them randomly on crates.
Awakening Requirements
To fully awaken Dante & Vergil, you need:
- 1 Devil Trigger Fragment
- 1 Twin Devil Core
- 1 Cosmic Devil Scroll
The Cosmic Devil Scroll is obtained from crates. This means some RNG is involved, so you may need multiple attempts.
Once you have all three items:
- Equip the Dante & Vergil Soul
- Use the awakening materials
- Complete the transformation
After awakening, the soul gains upgraded skills and improved overall performance.
