1. First Steps – Focus on Core Progression
When you enter the game, your main goal is simple: clear quests and unlock the next world as fast as possible. Start by:
- Completing the tutorial quest
- Accepting all basic kill quests in the first world
- Ignoring long boss-grind quests early on
Some quests ask you to defeat large numbers of bosses (like 100+). Skip these at the beginning. They take too long with weak units. Come back later when you’re much stronger and can clear them quickly. Your priority early game is damage and speed, not side objectives.
2. Unit Strategy – What to Keep and What to Sell
Early game unit management is extremely important.
What to Aim For
- Target Legendary units as your early baseline
- If you pull a Mythic early, your progression becomes much easier
- Secret units are late-game goals
Fusing Units
- Fuse Common, Rare, and Epic units immediately
- Use them to level up your better units
Selling Units
- Sell extra low-tier units
- Do NOT sell Mythics once you start getting them
Later in the game, evolution requires Souls, which you get by selling higher-rarity units. Mythic Souls are especially valuable, so start saving Mythics once your team stabilizes.
3. When to Start Raids
Raids unlock fairly early, but timing matters. You can complete early Nightmare raids with strong Legendary units, but it may take time. Ideally:
- Enter raids once you have at least 3–4 Mythic units
- Farm raids for medals and stat cubes
- Use stat cubes to upgrade talents
Raids are one of the best sources of progression materials, especially for talents and certain tokens.
4. World Progression Order
Each world costs Yen to unlock. Your progression path should look like this:
World 1
- Finish basic kill quests
- Farm until you can unlock World 2
- Ignore heavy boss grind quests
World 2
- Continue quest chain
- Unlock stat upgrades
- Begin farming stronger Mythics
You’ll also unlock additional systems like Devil Fruit-style mechanics here (depending on update status). Focus on building a full Mythic team before heavy raid farming.
World 3+
Enemy HP increases significantly. By this point:
- You should have multiple Mythics
- Start paying attention to traits (but don’t over-invest yet)
- Farm bosses only if efficient
Bosses with very high HP are not worth farming early unless your damage is strong enough to clear them quickly.
5. Evolution System – When to Use It
Evolution increases star level and damage but is expensive.
To evolve a unit:
- You need duplicate units
- You need Souls (obtained by selling units of that rarity)
Early game, evolution is not required. Focus on:
- Building a strong base team
- Saving Mythics
- Evolving only when you are stable in mid-game
Evolution becomes more important once you reach later islands.
6. Towers and Achievements
Do not ignore Tower mode.
Reaching higher floors:
- Grants Gems
- Unlocks extra unit slots (very important)
One major early goal is unlocking additional equip slots through achievements. Extra unit slots drastically increase your damage output.
This should be one of your priority side objectives once your team is stable.
7. Traits and Premium Resources
Traits improve unit performance, but early game:
- Do not waste premium medals
- Do not chase perfect traits
- Clear content first
You can complete early and mid-game without strong traits. Save rare resources for future updates or stronger units.
8. Performance Settings (For Low-End Devices)
If your game lags:
- Turn off ability VFX
- Turn off raid effects
- Lower graphics
This improves FPS significantly, especially during raids and boss fights.
Anime Tactical Simulator progression is all about efficiency. Focus on clearing worlds, building a Mythic-based team, and unlocking extra unit slots as soon as possible. Skip time-consuming boss quests early, don’t waste premium resources, and only invest heavily once your foundation is solid. If you follow this path, you’ll reach late-game content much faster and avoid the common beginner traps that slow most players down.
