Volleyball Legends Update 59 Guide: New Style, Codes, Duels & 2x Luck Event

Update 59 is finally live in Volleyball Legends, and this patch brings more than just small tweaks. From the return of a limited-time style to brand-new duel features and a boosted luck event, there’s a lot happening at once. If you’re aiming to grab rare styles or challenge your friends in 1v1 matches, this is the right time to jump back in. This update also improves the overall experience with party changes, shop refreshes, and a new player inspect system. Taichou Returns (Limited Time)

Taichou is back for a limited time only. This returning style will stay in the game for two weeks and will leave again on March 14th at 11:30 AM ET.

If you missed Taichou before, this is your second chance to unlock it. With the current 2x Luck event active, the odds are better than usual, making this the perfect window to spin.

Player Inspect Menu

You can now inspect other players directly in the lobby.

By interacting with a player, a new profile menu opens showing:

• Their current style
• Abilities
• Other key player information

From this menu, you can:

• Invite them to your party
• Challenge them to a 1v1 duel

This feature makes it easier to see what top players are using and helps you decide who to team up with or challenge.

New Duels System (1v1 Mode)

Update 59 introduces official 1v1 duels.

You can challenge friends by:

• Interacting with them in the lobby
• Sending a challenge through the party invite menu

This opens up competitive practice matches without needing a full team. The developers also hinted that more duel options could be added in the future, possibly including special mini modes.

Gem Shop Refresh

The Gem Shop has been updated with new rotation items.

There is now:

• A refreshed item pool
• A new NPC in the lobby that shows current shop rotations quickly

If you’ve been saving gems, check the new stock before it rotates again.

QoL Changes & Party Improvements

Several quality-of-life updates were added:

Party System Revamp

• A new UI above your yen now shows party members
• You can easily see how many players are in your party

Jersey Preview

• You can now preview jerseys before buying
• Similar preview system as score effects

MVP Chat Bubbles

• You can now use chat bubbles on the MVP screen after matches

These changes make customization and social features smoother overall.

Two new bundles have been added this week:

Cute Kitty Bundle

Includes:

• Giant Plushie Explosion score effect
• Exclusive player card

Hollow Bundle

Includes:

• Dark Star Extreme Explosion score effect
• 20 Lucky Style Spins
• Limited to only 10,000 stock

2x Lucky Event (Limited 48 Hours)

The 2x Luck event is active from:

• Secret Pity reduced: 200 → 100
• Secret Chance doubled: 0.5% → 1%
• Ultra Pity reduced: 400 → 200
• Ultra Chance doubled: 0.25% → 0.5%
