Understanding how stats work is one of the most important parts of progressing in Bizarre Lineage. Your character’s performance in combat, survivability in boss fights, and overall damage output are heavily affected by how you distribute your stat points. As you level up in the game, you will gain points that can be invested into different attributes. Each stat focuses on a specific part of combat, such as physical damage, Stand abilities, or survivability. Knowing which stats to prioritize can make leveling much easier and help you handle tougher enemies later in the game.
All Stats in Bizarre Lineage
1. Strength
Strength increases the damage dealt by physical attacks. This stat mainly affects melee combat and any ability that relies on direct physical hits. If you prefer fighting enemies using close-range combat without relying too much on Stands, Strength will be one of your main damage sources. Strength is also useful in early gameplay because many players rely on basic attacks before unlocking stronger abilities.
2. Health
Health increases your maximum HP. This is one of the most important stats for survivability. Higher health allows you to survive longer during difficult fights, especially when facing bosses or groups of enemies. New players often struggle with survivability early on, so investing points in Health can make leveling smoother and prevent frequent deaths.
3. Power
Power affects Sub-Ability damage and also increases your maximum Power resource. Many abilities consume Power to activate. Increasing this stat allows you to:
- Deal more damage with abilities
- Use skills more frequently due to higher Power capacity
This stat works well for players who rely heavily on abilities instead of basic attacks.
4. Weapon
Weapon increases slash damage and weapon-based attacks. This stat mainly benefits builds that use swords or other weapon-based combat styles. If your character focuses on weapon skills rather than Stands or abilities, this stat becomes much more valuable. However, if you are playing a Stand-focused build, Weapon stats usually provide little benefit.
5. Destructive Power
Destructive Power boosts your Stand’s physical damage. If your Stand uses close-range punches or physical attacks, this stat directly increases their damage output. Many powerful Stands rely heavily on physical attacks, making this stat essential for Stand-focused builds.
6. Destructive Energy
Destructive Energy increases the damage of your Stand’s special abilities. This stat affects abilities used by your Stand, especially ranged or special attacks. If your Stand relies more on skills than punches, Destructive Energy will provide a noticeable damage boost.
Best Stats to Level First
Choosing the right stat priority can make the early game much easier.
1. Early Game Priority
Start by investing in:
- Health
- Strength
- Power
Health helps you survive longer fights, while Strength and Power improve your damage output with both physical attacks and abilities. This setup works well while you are still progressing and unlocking new abilities.
2. Mid to Late Game (Stand Builds)
Once you obtain a strong Stand—especially a Legendary one—your stat priorities should change. Focus on:
- Destructive Power
- Destructive Energy
These two stats maximize the damage potential of your Stand, which becomes the main source of combat power later in the game.
3. Weapon Builds
If you plan to focus on weapon combat, then investing in Weapon stats becomes more important. However, many players skip this stat entirely unless their build specifically relies on weapon attacks.
Recommended Basic Stat Build
A simple and effective progression setup looks like this:
1. Early Game
- Health – High investment
- Strength – Moderate investment
- Power – Moderate investment
2. Late Game (Stand Build)
- Destructive Power – High investment
- Destructive Energy – High investment
- Health – Moderate investment
Weapon builds can replace Stand stats with Weapon if needed.
Stats play a major role in shaping your playstyle in Bizarre Lineage. Early on, survivability and basic combat are the most important, which makes Health, Strength, and Power the safest investments. Later in the game, once you obtain powerful Stands, shifting your points into Destructive Power and Destructive Energy will greatly increase your damage potential.
If you are unsure which direction to take, focusing on survivability first and adapting your stats once you unlock stronger abilities is usually the best strategy. This approach allows you to progress smoothly while preparing your character for tougher enemies and boss encounters later in the game.
