The latest update in Fisch introduces a brand-new teaser quest at Lost Jungle, a hidden demolition event, fresh rewards, and an airborne Wyvern hunt with a unique mini-game mechanic. While the Toxic Tunnel itself is not fully accessible yet, this update sets the foundation for the major content drop coming next.

If you want to complete everything available right now and prepare properly for the next stage, this full guide walks you through every step — from starting Oliver’s quest to unlocking the Flower Glider and understanding the new Wyvern system. Also check out our Fisch Codes for more rewards!

How to Start the Toxic Tunnel Teaser Quest

Fisch Toxic Tunnel Update Guide – Oliver Quest, Wyvern & Rewards Explained!

  • Location: Lost Jungle

Head to Lost Jungle and use the ship as your reference point.

  1. Move to the left side toward the spear crafting village.
  2. Pass the village.
  3. Jump into the water behind it.
  4. Follow the path.
  5. You’ll see a tent on the right.
  6. On the left, you’ll find Oliver.

Talk to Oliver. He wants to remove a massive boulder blocking the Toxic Tunnel entrance. However, he needs his five workers first:

  • Hayden
  • Paul
  • Theo
  • Samuel
  • Elias

All five are located at the Oil Rig near Roslet.

Oil Rig Worker Locations & Quest Requirements

Fisch Toxic Tunnel Update Guide – Oliver Quest, Wyvern & Rewards Explained!

Travel to the Oil Rig near Roslet Volcano. Climb the rope to reach the top platform. Here’s where each NPC is located and what they require:

1. Hayden – Banana

Located near the top platform. He asks for 1 Banana (must catch it yourself).

2. Paul – Atlantean Captain’s Goldfish

Left side of platform, wearing a fisherman hat.

3. Theo – Puffer Flute Fish

Jump through the window area.

4. Samuel – Rubber Ducky

Climb the ladder nearby.

5. Elias – Sea Mine

Inside the oil rig laboratory building.

Important: You must personally catch every item. Trading does not count.

How to Get Every Required Item

1. Banana Location

  • Area: Ancient Isles

Climb to the very top waterfall pond above the main village.

  • Fish inside the small pond.
  • Banana is a secret rarity.
  • Mutation does not matter.

2. Atlantean Captain’s Goldfish

  • Requirement: Trident Rod
  • Area: Forsaken Shores

Go to the waterfall pond near the merchant and ship area. This is the only location where Captain’s Goldfish can be caught. You need:

  • Trident Rod
  • Atlantean mutation

This one may take time, so be patient.

3. Rubber Ducky

Enter the whirlpool that leads to Vertigo area.

  • Fish in the underwater section.
  • Any Rubber Ducky counts.
  • No mutation required.

4. Puffer Flute Fish

  • Area: Crystal Cove

To reach it:

  1. Travel through the Depths.
  2. Move toward the merchant.
  3. Go right.
  4. Face the waterfall.
  5. Jump toward the black tunnel.
  6. Enter Crystal Cove.

Fishing Tips:

  • Rare rarity.
  • Prefers daytime.
  • Use Flakes bait.
  • Lower rarity rods work well (Idolon recommended).

5. Sea Mine (Hardest Step)

Sea Mine is obtained via Golden Crab Cages.

Step 1: Buy Golden Crab Cages

Go to:

  • Tidefall Area
  • Collapse Ruins
  • Crowned Ruins (sub-zone)

Golden Crab Cages are sold near the entrance. Buy as many as possible.

Step 2: Travel to Desolate Pocket

Place cages repeatedly. If unlucky:

  • Use the crashed container platform.
  • Spam cages along the extended water edge.
  • You can place a large number across the drop-off area.

Sea Mine is RNG-heavy, so persistence is key.

Turning In the Quest

Return to the Oil Rig and turn in items one by one. Important:

  • Hold the item in your hand.
  • Speak to the correct NPC.
  • Screen fades black.
  • NPC disappears (teleports to Lost Jungle).

After all five vanish, return to Oliver at Lost Jungle.

Toxic Tunnel Rewards

Talk to Oliver again to trigger demolition.

Rewards:

  • Exclusive Title
  • Flower Glider
  • Dream Orchid
  • Mystery Seed

The boulder will be removed after a short cutscene. However: Do NOT enter the Toxic Tunnel. Entering triggers a toxic effect and instant death. The area is currently locked and acts as a teaser for the upcoming major update. Dream Orchid and Mystery Seed have no current function.

Flower Glider & New Glider Setting

The Flower Glider is the only usable reward right now.

  • New Feature: Glider Auto Deploy Setting
  • Found in: Menu → Preferences

Options:

  • Hotbar
  • Favorited
  • Inventory Priority
  • Disabled

If set to Inventory Priority:

  • The system automatically selects your best glider.
  • Frees up a hotbar slot.
  • Double tap space to deploy.

This is a small but useful quality-of-life change.

Wyvern Hunt Explained

Fisch Toxic Tunnel Update Guide – Oliver Quest, Wyvern & Rewards Explained!

The update also expands the Pinion Aria Rod with a new Hunt Focus ability.

Wyvern Location

  • Above the clouds.
  • You’ll see: “A Wyvern has been spotted.”
  • The Wyvern circles the cloud zone.

Unique Mini-Game Mechanic

During the hunt:

  • The Wyvern performs blinking attacks.
  • If you remain inside the highlighted zone, you lose progress speed.
  • You must reposition quickly to avoid damage.

This is a reaction-based mechanic unlike traditional fishing encounters.

It adds difficulty and skill-based interaction, making hunts more engaging.

Other Minor Update Features

  • Shop now includes a “View” button.
  • Allows players to preview items before purchasing.
  • Reduces reliance on Discord screenshots or external sources.

The Toxic Tunnel Fisch update is clearly a setup patch rather than a full expansion. The Oliver quest line gives players something meaningful to complete while building anticipation for the March 7 major update. Right now, the key objectives are: Complete Oliver’s worker quest.

Unlock the Flower Glider. Prepare rods and gear for upcoming Toxic Tunnel content. Practice Wyvern hunt mechanics. The tunnel itself remains locked, but everything points toward a larger underground expansion next. If you finish the teaser quest now, you’ll be fully ready when the real Toxic Tunnel content goes live.
