Bizarre Lineage Gang Guide – How to Create a Gang and Fix Logo & Name Errors

Gangs, also called Clans, are an important feature in Bizarre Lineage. They allow players to join forces with others and unlock several group-based activities such as Gang Wars and Gang Contracts. However, some players run into problems when trying to create their own Gang. Two of the most common issues are the “Emblem Must Be Valid” error and Gang names getting blocked by the filter. These problems can prevent players from completing the Gang creation process even when everything seems correct. This guide explains how to create a Gang in Bizarre Lineage and how to fix the most common errors players encounter.

How to Create a Gang in Bizarre Lineage

Players can either join an existing Gang through an invitation or create their own. If you want full control over the group, creating your own Gang is the best option. Follow these steps to create a Gang in the game:

1. Open the in-game Menu by pressing M or clicking the menu icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.
2. Select the Gangs icon from the menu.
3. The Gang management screen will appear.
4. Enter a Gang Name and provide a Logo ID for the Gang emblem.
5. Once both fields are filled in, press Finalize.
6. After creating the Gang, you can begin inviting other players to join your group.

If the system accepts both the name and the emblem ID, your Gang will be created instantly.

Fix “Emblem Must Be Valid” Error (Wrong Decal ID)

One of the most common issues players face is the “Emblem Must Be Valid” message when trying to create a Gang. This usually happens because the wrong ID is being used for the logo. Many players mistakenly copy the Decal ID instead of the Image Asset ID. Bizarre Lineage only accepts the Image Asset ID. Follow these steps to get the correct ID:

1. Log into your account on the Roblox website using a browser.
2. From the homepage, click Create in the top menu.
3. On the Creator dashboard, open Creations from the left menu.
4. Select Development Items.
5. Click the Images tab.
6. Choose Go to Decals and upload the image you want to use as your Gang logo.
7. After uploading, return to the Images tab.
8. Click the three-dot icon next to your image.
9. Select Copy Asset ID.
10. Paste this ID into the Logo ID field in the Gang creation menu inside the game.

The key point is that the system automatically converts decals into images. Because of this, you must copy the Image Asset ID, not the decal ID.

Gang Name Filter Problem

Another issue players encounter involves the Gang name filter. Some players report that the system blocks almost every name they try, even when the name is harmless.
