Update 15 in Catch and Tame introduces several new features, including a new underwater area called Forgotten Depths, many aquatic pets, and new equipment that helps players explore deeper parts of the map. While the update adds a lot of new creatures to capture, one of the most interesting secrets is the Baby Monkey that players can rescue through a special puzzle underwater.

Unlike normal pets that spawn in the open world, the Baby Monkey is locked behind a small quest that requires exploring the depths, collecting specific items, and solving a puzzle. How to Reach the Forgotten Depths

Before you can start the Baby Monkey quest, you must travel to the Forgotten Depths island. This island is located far away from the main map and cannot be reached by swimming alone. If you try to swim there, your oxygen will run out before you arrive. To reach the island, you must:

• Use a flying pet or a rideable pet
• Travel across the ocean until you see the Forgotten Depths island
• Land near the diving area on the island

Once you arrive, you will find a diving shop where you can buy special equipment. Important items you should buy:

• Flippers – Increase swimming speed underwater
• Oxygen Tanks – Allow you to stay underwater longer

The better the equipment, the easier it will be to explore the deeper parts of the ocean.

Diving Into the Forgotten Depths

After buying diving gear, you can jump into the water and begin exploring the underwater area. While diving, you will notice an oxygen bar next to your character. If the bar reaches zero, you will be forced to return to the surface. Underwater you can also discover many aquatic pets such as:

• Sharks
• Swordfish
• Clownfish
• Stingrays

Catching these pets will help you fill your index and collect some of the new creatures added in this update. As you swim deeper, you will eventually encounter a large gate blocking the path to the lower section of the ocean.

Finding the Blue Key

To open the underwater gate, you must first obtain a blue key. The key is not hidden in a chest or object. Instead, it is carried by certain fish in the area. Follow these steps:

1. Search for fish that appear to be holding a blue key.
2. Catch the fish using your lasso.
3. Once caught, the key will automatically appear in your inventory.

The key spawn rate is fairly generous, so you should find one after a short amount of exploration. Once you obtain the key, return to the gate and unlock it to access the deeper section.

Solving the Puzzle to Save the Baby Monkey

After opening the gate and diving deeper, you will eventually find a small cage at the bottom of the ocean. Inside the cage is the Baby Monkey. Next to the cage is a puzzle that requires collecting five hidden objects scattered across the underwater area. The five items are:

• Anchor
• Triangle
• Square
• Star
• Circle

Each object is hidden in different parts of the ocean floor.

Item Locations

• Anchor Usually found near underwater mines on the seabed.
• Triangle Located slightly above the gate area near purple coral formations.
• Square Found close to cliffs around the same level as the triangle item.
• Star Located in the upper layers of the underwater area near two gray rocks connected together.
• Circle Found above the underwater mines near a rocky ledge shaped like a ring.

Once you collect all five items, the puzzle near the cage will activate.

Saving the Baby Monkey

After placing the five items into the puzzle, the cage will open and reveal the Baby Monkey. You will then see a Save button. Press it to rescue the Baby Monkey.

Once the quest is completed, the Baby Monkey will appear in your inventory as a pet. If your oxygen is low during the quest, you can quickly press the home button to return to the surface after completing the objective.

The Baby Monkey quest in Catch and Tame is one of the more interesting secrets added in Update 15. Instead of simply catching a creature in the open world, players must explore the Forgotten Depths, unlock a gate, and solve a puzzle hidden deep underwater.

Although it takes some time to locate all five puzzle items, the process becomes much easier once you know where to search. Upgrading your diving equipment and using fast pets will also help you move through the underwater area more efficiently.
