Fisch Roblox Toxic Boil Buff Explained Guide

The latest hotfix in Fisch Roblox has introduced a major improvement that many players were waiting for. The Toxic Boil system has received a significant buff, making it easier to find, more useful for farming, and much more rewarding overall. Before this update, players often complained that Toxic Boils were difficult to notice and disappeared too quickly, making it frustrating to farm certain rare items.

Now the developers have changed several things to improve the experience. Mad Chemist NPC and Noxius Catalyst

A new NPC called Mad Chemist has been added near the Toxic Grove, located close to the shipwright and Olivia. This NPC is responsible for creating a special item called the Noxius Catalyst, which allows players to manually spawn Toxic Boils. To obtain the Prototype Noxius Catalyst, you need to bring the following item:

• 3 Toxic Jelly Masks

After giving the materials to the Mad Chemist, you will receive the Prototype Noxius Catalyst, which looks like a vial filled with purple liquid. This catalyst is a throwable item that can be used directly in the water inside Toxic Grove.

How the Toxic Boil Catalyst Works

Once you throw the Noxius Catalyst into the water, it will spawn a Toxic Boil pool at that location. The biggest change is the duration. Normally, Toxic Boils only lasted around 30 seconds, which made them difficult to use. With the catalyst, the Toxic Boil now stays active for 10 minutes. During this time, players can fish inside the pool and benefit from several bonuses:

• +10 Disturbance
• +25% Progress Speed
• Increased chances for certain rare items

This makes farming inside Toxic Boils much more efficient compared to before.

Another interesting feature is that multiple players can stack catalysts. If another player throws a catalyst on the same Toxic Boil, the duration stacks. For example:

• 1 Catalyst = 10 minutes
• 2 Catalysts = 20 minutes

Players can also place catalysts in different spots within Toxic Grove, allowing multiple Toxic Boils to exist at the same time.

Rotted Seed Drop Changes

Another important improvement in the hotfix involves Rotted Seeds. Previously, the drop rate was rumored to be around 1 in 2000, and some players spent many hours trying to get one without success.

Now the system includes a pity mechanic. This means if you reach around 2000 catches, you are guaranteed to obtain a Rotted Seed. With the longer Toxic Boil duration and improved fishing speed, farming for this item is now much more manageable.

Crafting More Noxius Catalysts

After obtaining the prototype version, you can craft more catalysts by returning to the Mad Chemist. To craft additional Noxius Catalysts, you will need:

• 3 Lotuses
• 3 Toxic Jelly Masks

The new version of the catalyst looks slightly different and includes a crystal inside the vial. Since lotuses are not always heavily used later in progression, many players will likely use them to craft more catalysts for farming.
