A new weekly update has arrived in Fisch, and this time the game celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with a large limited-time event. The update adds themed decorations, special quests, and a new set of fish that players can hunt during the event.
As soon as you enter the game, the town of Moosewood looks completely different. Green decorations, clovers, and festive lights appear across the island. More importantly, several new NPCs appear across different locations, starting a chain of quests tied to the Lucky Rainbow event.
This guide explains how the St. Patrick’s update works, where to go first, and how to complete the event efficiently.
Start the Event and Find the Leprechaun
Your first stop is Moosewood, where you will see the Leprechaun Guide. Speaking with this NPC starts the event and gives a simple hint about the main activity: follow the rainbow and search for treasure. However, the real questline actually begins in the Northern Expedition, specifically in Boreal Pines.
Travel there using your boat and enter the portal leading to the snowy region. Before exploring, make sure to equip a Winter Cloak, otherwise the cold environment will slowly eliminate your character. Inside Boreal Pines:
- Locate Marvin (the NPC that sells the Boreal Rod).
- Walk behind him between the trees.
- Continue forward until you reach Lumberjack Pat.
- Look for a cabin with a green roof near a campfire.
Inside the cabin you will find Leprechaun Snow, the NPC that gives your first real quest.
Your first task is simple but important: catch one Rainbow Leviathan.
Lucky Rainbow Event and Shamrock Seas Fish
The Rainbow Leviathan is not a mutation. It is part of a limited fish collection called the Shamrock Seas Event. This collection includes several new fish such as:
- Shamrock Bluefish
- Shamrock Sila
- Shamrock Megalodon
- Shamrock Leviathan
- Rainbow Leviathan
To catch them, you need to find a Lucky Rainbow event that spawns near the Lost Jungle.
How Lucky Rainbow Works
Every 15 minutes, the server rolls a chance for Lucky Rainbow to appear. The spawn chance is roughly 25%.
When it appears:
- Travel to the rainbow location.
- A Pot of Gold will spawn.
- Players must interact with it for 10 seconds.
- Only 5 players can claim it.
Each claim rewards:
- Cash
- Gold Coin
After the pot disappears, a Lucky Gold Pool appears in the water. This fishing spot is where you can catch most of the Shamrock Seas fish, including the Rainbow Leviathan needed for quests.
Golden Lucky Rainbow Variant
Sometimes a rare version called Golden Lucky Rainbow appears. You can identify it through the server announcement or by checking the Golden Pot of Gold.
The rewards are slightly better:
- More money
- 2 Gold Coins instead of 1
Fishing in the pool also gives a chance to catch Golden variants of event fish, including the Golden Rainbow Leviathan.
Shamrock Express Quest Boat
Another important part of the event is the Shamrock Express, a traveling boat that appears around the map near Mush Grove.
This boat contains multiple NPCs offering quests. These tasks usually involve catching Shamrock variants of sea creatures such as:
- Shamrock Megalodon
- Shamrock Kraken
- Shamrock Sila
- Shamrock Leviathan
Unlike mutations, Shamrock is a variant, meaning these creatures randomly spawn instead of their normal versions.
Completing quests rewards:
- Clover Clusters (special bait)
- Four-Leaf Clovers
- Event items and cosmetics
Best Rewards From the Event
Several quests provide unique rewards that are worth completing.

Catching special fish like the Rainbow Leviathan, farming gold coins, and completing all Leprechaun quests will unlock some of the best rewards from the event, including the powerful Leprechaun fishing rod.
