Sailor Piece Traits Guide – All Traits, Stats, and How to Get Them

Improving your character in Sailor Piece is not only about leveling up or getting stronger abilities. One of the most important systems that directly boosts your performance is the Trait system. Traits provide passive bonuses that increase your overall combat power and can significantly change how your character performs in battles.

If your character feels weak or struggles against enemies and bosses, upgrading to a better Trait can make a huge difference. The right Trait can greatly increase damage output, improve survivability, and reduce skill cooldowns, allowing you to fight more efficiently. This guide explains how Traits work in Sailor Piece, how to obtain them, and which ones are worth aiming for.

What Do Traits Do in Sailor Piece?

Traits act as stat multipliers that enhance your character’s core attributes. Instead of giving small bonuses, they multiply your stats, which means the effects become stronger as your base stats increase.

For example, if your base damage is 100 and your Trait provides a 2.20x Damage multiplier, your final damage becomes 220. Because of this system, powerful Traits can drastically increase your combat performance.

Traits mainly affect three important stats:

Damage (DMG)
This determines how much damage your attacks deal. A higher damage multiplier allows you to defeat enemies and bosses faster.

Defense (DEF)
Defense improves your durability and helps you survive more attacks during combat.

Cooldown Reduction (CDR)
Cooldown Reduction decreases the time needed for your abilities to recharge, allowing you to use skills more frequently.

Not every Trait provides bonuses to all three stats. Some Traits focus only on damage or defense, while others offer balanced improvements.

How to Get Traits in Sailor Piece

Traits are obtained using an item called Trait Rerolls. Every time you use one, your character receives a randomly generated Trait.

Trait Rerolls can be obtained by defeating enemies throughout the game. Both regular mobs and bosses have a chance to drop them, so the more you grind, the more rerolls you can collect.

Because Traits are completely random, players may receive a strong Trait immediately or spend many rerolls before getting a good one. It is usually recommended to gather a decent number of rerolls before attempting multiple rolls.

How to Reroll Traits

Follow these steps to reroll your Trait:

  1. Teleport to Sailor Island.
  2. Find the building located on the left side of the island.
  3. Talk to the Trait Master NPC.
  4. Use a Trait Reroll to receive a new random Trait.

Each reroll replaces your current Trait with a new one.

Best Traits to Aim For

Among all available Traits:

  • Celestial is considered the best overall option. It provides extremely high damage along with solid defense and cooldown reduction, making it one of the strongest choices for most builds.
  • For players who want better survivability, Overlord is another excellent option because it provides the highest defense multiplier in the game.
  • Singularity is often seen as the most balanced Secret Trait. It offers strong damage, good defense, and cooldown reduction, making it especially useful in boss fights.
  • If you cannot obtain a Secret Trait, Malevolent is widely considered the best Mythic alternative thanks to its strong damage boost.

Reroll Tips for Beginners

Because Traits are random, it is easy to waste rerolls quickly. A good strategy is to save at least 20 Trait Rerolls before starting to roll for better Traits. If you are stuck with a lower-tier Trait early in the game, Overdrive is a decent temporary option because it provides cooldown reduction, which is rare among lower-tier Traits. Saving rerolls and rolling in batches increases your chances of eventually landing a powerful Trait.

Traits are one of the most impactful systems in Sailor Piece, as they directly multiply your character’s core stats. A strong Trait can dramatically improve your damage output, survivability, and overall combat performance.

Since Traits are obtained through random rerolls, patience and grinding are key. By farming enemies for Trait Rerolls and aiming for top-tier options like Celestial or Singularity, players can greatly strengthen their characters and handle tougher challenges throughout the game.
