Gloomspore Valley Biome Abyss Roblox Location Guide
A new update in Abyss has introduced a massive biome called Gloomspore Valley. This area is one of the largest locations added to the game so far, bringing new environments, NPCs, equipment, and puzzles for players to explore.
Gloomspore Valley is not just a single location. The biome is divided into three different sub-biomes, each offering unique content such as quests, teleporters, hidden caves, and new gear. Because the area is quite large, many players are unsure where the biome is located or what they should do first.
This guide will explain how to find the Gloomspore Valley biome and what you can expect inside each section. Also check out Roblox Abyss Codes for more rewards.
Where to Find Gloomspore Valley in Abyss
To locate the new biome, open your map while playing Abyss. The Gloomspore Valley biome should appear clearly after the update is installed.
You can find it on the bottom-right side of the Forgotten Deep biome. Since the area is quite large, it is easy to recognize once you zoom in on the map.
The central section of the biome is labeled Gloomspore Valley, and from this location you can travel into the three different sub-biomes that make up the entire area.
Sub-Biome 1: Elves Pit

The first sub-biome you will encounter is Elves Pit, which is also the main area of Gloomspore Valley. This location features a massive mountain in the middle and serves as the starting point for most players entering the biome.
One important feature of this area is the ability to refill your oxygen, which is very helpful since the biome can drain oxygen quickly while exploring.
Elves Pit also contains the main teleporter for Gloomspore Valley, making it easier to return here later.
Inside the area you will also meet the Spore Guardian NPC. This character gives you a short quest that can be completed quickly. Even though the quest is simple, you should not skip it because finishing it unlocks a hidden cave behind the NPC.
Once the quest is completed:
- You receive a badge
- The gate behind the NPC opens
The opened gate reveals a large cave underneath the mountain. This cave contains additional NPCs, new quests, gear to collect, and a large gate that requires three runes to unlock.
Sub-Biome 2: Aria’s Altar

The second area within the biome is called Aria’s Altar. This section is separate from the main valley but still part of Gloomspore Valley.
When you enter this location, you will see a large altar with the Aria NPC standing on top of it. There is also another teleporter, which allows players to move around the biome faster without needing to travel all the way back.
One of the most valuable items introduced in this update can also be found here.
The Crystal Tube, which is considered the best tube added in the update, can be purchased in this area. It costs 720,000 coins and provides a significant boost to your oxygen capacity. This item is extremely useful for players planning to explore deeper parts of the biome.
You can also find a new weapon in this section, making it a good place to explore carefully before moving on.
Sub-Biome 3: Crimson Spores

The third sub-biome is known as Crimson Spores. However, players should be aware that this area currently has a bug. Inside the Spore Cave, there is a gas that can instantly kill your character when you enter. This issue is not intentional, and the developers are expected to fix it in a future patch. When you arrive in the cave area, you will see:
- A teleporter on the right side
- A Hazmat Guy NPC on the left side
Until the bug is fixed, it is better to avoid walking straight into the cave because the gas can instantly end your run.
Despite the issue, the area still contains another tube and a new gun, which makes it worth revisiting once the developers release the fix.
Fungus Temple Puzzle in Gloomspore Valley
At the edge of the Gloomspore Valley map, you can find a hidden location called the Fungus Temple. This area features a puzzle involving multiple torches.
The goal of the puzzle is to activate all the torches in the correct combination to unlock the temple doors. Once the puzzle is completed, you can access several rewards.
The rewards typically include:
- Coins
- Star Shards
- Oxygen Pods
Completing the puzzle can also lead to an encounter with an NPC named Veya.
Additionally, Orcas spawn near the temple area, and they appear to be a good source of income for players who want to farm coins while exploring the biome.
The Gloomspore Valley biome is one of the largest and most content-filled areas added to Abyss so far. With three different sub-biomes, hidden caves, puzzles, and new equipment, there is a lot for players to explore. If you are entering the biome for the first time, it is best to start at Elves Pit, complete the Spore Guardian quest, and unlock the hidden cave.
After that, you can explore Aria’s Altar for better gear and eventually visit Crimson Spores once the current bug is fixed. Taking the time to explore each part of the biome will help you discover new quests, powerful equipment, and useful rewards that make progressing through Abyss much easier.
