Fungus Temple Location in Abyss
To find the Fungus Temple, open your map and travel to the Gloomspore Valley biome. Once you arrive in the area, look for the temple location directly across from the teleporter on the map.
The structure is fairly easy to recognize because it looks different from the other rock formations nearby. When you reach the temple entrance, you will see several torches placed around the room.
You can interact with these torches by pressing E. Each torch can be turned on or off, and activating certain torches will also affect others nearby.
The main objective is simple: all torches must be lit at the same time in order to unlock the gate.
Fungus Temple Puzzle 1
The first puzzle is the easiest compared to the others. You only need to activate two torches in the correct order.
Steps to solve the puzzle:
- Turn on the torch on the left side near the wall.
- After that, turn on the torch directly across from it on the right side.
If done correctly, all five torches in the room will light up automatically, and the first gate will open.
Inside the next chamber you will find a chest containing:

- 1 Basic Oxygen Pod

After passing through the first gate, go down the stairs to reach the second puzzle. This puzzle is slightly more complicated because it has three rows of torches that must be activated in the correct order.

- Turn on the first torch from the right in the second row.
- Turn on the leftmost torch in the second row.
- Turn on the second torch in the third row.
Once the sequence is completed correctly, the second gate will open.
The chest in this room can contain rewards such as:

- 20 Star Shards
- Small Oxygen Pod
- Speed Potion
- Drop Luck Potion

The third puzzle is the most difficult and is often where players get stuck. Before starting, make sure all torches are turned off. If any torches are still lit from previous attempts, reset the puzzle by turning everything off first. Steps to complete the final puzzle:
- Turn on the torch on the right wall, which is the first torch in the third row.
- Move to the upper-left corner of the room and turn on the torch there (fourth torch in the fourth row).
- Return near the entrance area and activate the first torch on the right side (second torch in the first row).
- Finally, turn on the torch on the left side of the room (fourth torch in the second row).
If all steps are done correctly, the final gate will unlock.
Inside the final chamber you will find:
- Two normal chests
- One large chest
These chests usually contain coins, Star Shards, and Oxygen Pods.
After completing all three puzzles inside the Fungus Temple, a hidden NPC named Veya will appear in the area. This NPC only shows up after the final puzzle has been solved, which is why many players miss it if they leave before finishing every room.
