Season 7 introduces a new strategist hero that brings a very different playstyle to team fights. White Fox is not a traditional backline support that only focuses on healing. Instead, she mixes mobility, healing, and damage while constantly moving across the battlefield to assist teammates.
Her abilities allow her to teleport to allies, interrupt enemies, and even dive into fights when needed. Because of this, White Fox works best when supporting flankers or aggressive teammates. Once you understand how her skills work together, she can become one of the most impactful support characters in Marvel Rivals. This guide explains how White Fox works, including her abilities, gameplay tips, and the best way to use her kit effectively during matches.
White Fox Playstyle Overview
White Fox is designed as a mobile strategist who supports aggressive teammates. Instead of staying far away from combat, she moves around the map helping allies in dangerous positions. Her main strengths include:
- Strong group healing
- High mobility through teleport
- Ability to interrupt enemy abilities
- Burst damage during close combat
However, she also requires good positioning and timing. Jumping into the wrong fight can easily put you in danger since her mobility skills often commit you to a location.
Basic Attack – Fox Orb
White Fox’s main attack fires a projectile that can damage enemies and heal allies at the same time.
Important mechanics:
- Holds 15 ammo
- Bounces to two nearby targets
- Each bounce deals slightly less damage or healing
- Does not heal targets with full HP
Because of the bounce effect, this attack works best when teammates are grouped together. Shooting through a cluster of allies will spread healing while still applying pressure to enemies in front.
It can also bounce from surfaces if you miss, helping it reach nearby targets.
Melee Attack
White Fox also has a melee combo using her claws. This attack performs three claw strikes, each dealing around 30 damage. Advanced players often combine melee attacks with her basic attack to increase damage. This technique is known as melee weaving, where players alternate between basic attacks and melee hits to deal damage faster.
Spectral Surge (Secondary Fire)
Spectral Surge launches a spirit fox projectile that charms enemies for a short time.
Key features:
- Pierces through multiple targets
- Briefly interrupts enemies
- Can cancel powerful abilities or ultimates
- Grants temporary invulnerability if it hits an ally
Although the charm duration is short, the real value of this ability is interrupting enemy plays. Good timing can stop ultimates or break enemy combos.
This skill uses one Foxtail charge, and White Fox can store up to three.
Spirit Sanctuary (Shift Ability)
Spirit Sanctuary is White Fox’s main mobility skill.
When activated, she:
- Teleports to a nearby ally
- Heals them slightly
- Creates a 360° shield that blocks up to 200 damage
This ability works even without direct line of sight, making it very useful for saving teammates in danger.
However, teleporting to an ally also places you in the same location as them. If they are surrounded by enemies, you may end up in trouble as well. Always consider the situation before using this ability.
Fox Form Awakening (E Ability)
Fox Form Awakening transforms White Fox into a close combat support fighter.
During this form:
- Basic attacks become five claw slashes
- Attacks heal nearby allies
- She gains additional combat abilities
New abilities in this form include:
Dash Attack (Shift)
Dash forward and flip over enemies, then dash again to push enemies.
Spinning Tail (Secondary)
A strong cone attack that knocks enemies upward and deals heavy damage.
Fox Form is extremely powerful in team fights because it provides both damage and healing at the same time. However, it also requires careful positioning since you must fight at close range.
Ultimate Ability – Kumiho Unleashed
White Fox’s ultimate transforms her into a giant nine-tailed fox spirit.
During this form:
- HP increases to 900
- Creates a large healing aura
- Basic attacks become powerful stomps
- Can send spirit flames to allies
The spirit flame ability provides:
- Healing over time
- Immunity to crowd control
Each use costs some of the ultimate form’s HP, and White Fox cannot receive healing while transformed.
This ultimate is extremely strong in large fights, especially when supporting heroes preparing to use their own ultimates.
White Fox Best Combo
One of White Fox’s strongest damage combos looks like this:
- Basic attack
- Secondary fire
- Activate Fox Form
- Dash with Shift
- Melee slash
- Dash again
- Finish with spinning tail attack
This combo can quickly eliminate enemies with around 250 HP, making it useful for finishing weakened targets. It may feel difficult at first, but practicing the sequence will make it easier over time.
White Fox is a flexible strategist that blends healing, mobility, and burst damage. She rewards players who enjoy active support gameplay instead of staying behind the team. Her teleport ability allows her to quickly assist allies across the battlefield, while Fox Form gives her the option to dive into fights when needed.
Combined with her strong ultimate, White Fox can easily turn the momentum of a team fight. Learning her timing and positioning will take practice, but once mastered, White Fox becomes one of the most dynamic support heroes available in Marvel Rivals.
