Sailor Piece Artifacts Guide – How to Unlock, Upgrade, and Farm Better Artifacts
Progressing into the later stages of Sailor Piece requires more than just strong weapons and abilities. One of the most important systems that helps players boost their power is the Artifacts system. These items provide extra stats that can greatly improve your overall performance during fights, boss battles, and high-level grinding.
However, the Artifact system works differently compared to other features like cosmetics or blessings. Players must unlock artifact drops first, farm the pieces from enemies, and upgrade them using a special resource. Understanding how this system works will make it much easier to build a stronger character.
How to Unlock Artifacts in Sailor Piece
Before artifacts start dropping in the game, players must unlock the system by completing several requirements. You need to reach the following conditions first:
- Level 2500
- 500,000 Money
- 500 Gems
After meeting these requirements, you can activate artifact drops through the Artifacts tab inside your inventory. Another option is talking to the Artifacts NPC located at Snow Island. Once the system is activated, enemies across the world will start dropping artifact pieces.
Artifact Sets and Drop Locations
Artifacts in Sailor Piece come in different sets. Each set can be obtained from specific locations in the game. Here are the main artifact sets and where they drop:
Ashen Chronicles Set
- Dropped by mobs and mini-bosses at Starter Island and Jungle Island
- World bosses have a small chance to drop it
Void Artifact Set
- Dropped by all World Bosses
Crownless Set
- Dropped by mobs and mini-bosses at Desert Island and Snow Island
- World bosses also have a small chance
Black Horizon Set
- Dropped by enemies at Shibuya Station and Hueco Mundo
Celestial Rupture Set
Dropped by mobs and mini-bosses at:
- Shinjuku Island
- Slime Island
- Soul Society
- Academy Island
- Judgement Island
Every artifact set contains four equipment pieces:
- Helmet
- Gloves
- Body
- Boots
Equipping these pieces increases different character stats.
Understanding Artifact Stats
Each artifact item provides one main stat and one sub stat. The main stat depends on the type of artifact piece, while the possible sub stats remain the same for all pieces.
Helmet
Main Stat:
- Defense or Flat Defense
Possible Sub Stats:
- Critical Chance
- Critical Damage
- Damage
- Defense
- Flat Defense
- Damage Reduction
- Lifesteal
- HP Regeneration
Gloves
Main Stat:
- Damage
Body
Main Stat:
- Can roll any stat available in the game
Boots
Main Stat:
- Damage
- Defense
- Flat Defense
- Damage Reduction
Artifact rarity also affects how strong the stats are. Higher rarity pieces provide much stronger bonuses.
Another important rule is that main stats cannot appear again as sub stats. For example, if Boots roll Damage as the main stat, Damage will not appear as a sub stat.
How to Upgrade Artifacts
Artifacts can be upgraded to increase their stats. To upgrade an artifact:
- Open the Artifacts menu
- Select the artifact piece you want to upgrade
- Click the Upgrade button
- Add Dust using the + button
- Confirm the upgrade
You can upgrade artifacts individually or upgrade multiple artifacts at once if you have enough Dust. The maximum artifact level is 15, and it takes 287 Dust to fully upgrade one artifact from level 0.
How to Get Dust
Dust is the currency used to upgrade artifacts.
The only way to obtain Dust is by deleting extra artifact pieces. When you farm artifacts and remove duplicates, they automatically convert into Dust.
Important things to know about Dust:
- It cannot be traded
- It does not appear in your inventory
- You can only see your Dust amount in the Artifact Upgrade menu
Higher rarity artifacts give more Dust when dismantled. For example, Legendary artifacts provide around 24 Dust.
How to Get Higher Rarity Artifacts
Artifacts come in four rarity levels:
- Common
- Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
When players first unlock artifacts, Common drops dominate the loot pool, with around a 90% chance. However, there is a system that increases the chances of better drops. Go to Snow Island and speak to the Artifact Milestone NPC, located near the Artifact NPC. This character manages your Artifact Collection Progress.
The system works like this:
- Collection levels range from Level 0 to Level 40
- Each time you obtain an artifact, you gain 1 Data Rank EXP
- Higher levels increase the chance of getting Rare, Epic, and Legendary artifacts
Besides improving drop rates, the milestone system also gives rewards such as:
- Race Rerolls
- Trait Rerolls
- Haki Color Rerolls
- Other useful bonuses
The Artifacts system in Sailor Piece plays a major role once you reach the higher levels of the game. By collecting artifact sets, upgrading them with Dust, and increasing your milestone rank, you can significantly improve your character’s stats. Although it takes time to farm the best pieces, the effort pays off once you start obtaining high-rarity artifacts with powerful stat bonuses. With the right set equipped and upgraded, progressing through tougher bosses and endgame content becomes much easier.
