Hollow is one of the most unique progression paths in Paradox. Unlike Soul Reapers, players who start as Hollows must evolve through multiple stages before reaching their full power. This journey begins with a weak Hollow form and eventually leads to powerful transformations such as Arrancar and Resurrection.
The Hollow progression system focuses heavily on evolution. Players must survive, hunt enemies, and complete specific objectives to unlock stronger forms. Each stage brings new advantages and abilities that make the character more powerful.
This guide explains everything you need to know about Hollow progression in Paradox, including clans, race buffs, evolution stages, and how to unlock Incomplete Resurrection and full Resurrection.

Hollow Progression Stages
The Hollow progression system includes several transformation stages. Each stage requires players to complete tasks before evolving.
Stage 1 – Fishbone
Fishbone is the starting form for Hollow players.
Your main goal is to gain soul points by defeating other Hollows and completing various tasks. Once enough progress is made, you can evolve to the next stage.
Stage 2 – Menos Grande
Menos Grande progression mainly focuses on survival.
This stage normally takes around one hour to complete, although it can be faster if you defeat enemies.
At this stage, you can also remove your mask using Ctrl + K to become a Menoscar, which is the weakest Arrancar form.
Stage 3 – Adjuchas
Adjuchas progression works similarly to the Fishbone stage but becomes more difficult.
Players must continue fighting enemies and building progress to evolve further.
You can remove your mask at this stage to become an Adjucar, which is a standard Arrancar form.
Stage 4 – Vasto Lorde
Vasto Lorde represents one of the highest Hollow evolutions.
At this stage, you can choose to remove your mask and become a Vastocar, which is the strongest Arrancar form.
Alternatively, players can remain as a Hollow and continue progressing.
Stage 5 – Arrancar
Once you become an Arrancar, progression shifts toward missions.
Head to the mission teleporter in Hueco Mundo to start completing missions and increasing your potential.
How to Get Incomplete Resurrection
Incomplete Resurrection is an early transformation for Arrancar characters.
Step 1
Reach 200 Potential and speak with the NPC located in the Hueco Mundo castle.
Step 2
The NPC will spawn your spirit somewhere on the map as a Fishbone Hollow.
Your goal is to find and defeat it before it dies. The game will notify you if you are getting closer or farther away.
Step 3
Grip 5 Shinigami players. Only Shinigami count for this requirement.
Step 4
Meditate for 5 minutes inside Hueco Mundo. After meditating, you will be teleported to an inner world area. You must solve a lever puzzle by finding the correct pattern that opens the door. Once the door opens, enter it to unlock Incomplete Resurrection. Remember to talk to the NPC after finishing each step.
How to Unlock Resurrection
Resurrection is the main transformation for Arrancar characters and requires significant progression.
Requirement
You must have 605 Potential before starting the Resurrection quest.
Stage 1 – Obtain a Hōgyoku
Collect 15 Shattered Hōgyoku pieces and merge them by talking to the NPC Inori.
This will create a full Hōgyoku.
Stage 2 – Win Battles
After obtaining the Hōgyoku, speak to the Mysterious Person.
You must complete one of the following tasks:
- Win 10 raids, or
- Win 15 ranked matches
Stage 3 – Parry Test
The next step is a parry challenge where you must successfully pass the test to continue.
Stage 4 – Charge the Hōgyoku
Grip players from the opposing faction to charge the Hōgyoku. The amount of charge depends on the potential level of the defeated player. Be careful, because dying will reduce some of the charge.
Stage 5 – Inner Hollow Boss Fight
For the final stage, talk to the Mysterious Person again and meditate inside Hueco Mundo. You will be transported to an inner world where you must defeat your inner Hollow boss. Winning this fight unlocks Resurrection, granting access to powerful abilities.
The Hollow progression path in Paradox offers one of the most complex and rewarding journeys in the game. Starting from the weak Fishbone stage and evolving all the way to Arrancar and Resurrection requires patience, combat skill, and dedication.
By understanding the different evolution stages, clan bonuses, and transformation requirements, players can progress much faster and unlock some of the strongest abilities available in the game. Whether you aim to become a Vasto Lorde or a powerful Arrancar, mastering the Hollow path is key to dominating battles in Paradox.
