Spirit of the Forest Rod Guide – Fisch Roblox

The Everturn Forest update in Fisch introduced several new mechanics, quests, and fishing rods. One of the most interesting rods added in this update is the Spirit of the Forest Rod. Unlike most rods that only rely on basic stats, this rod uses a unique spirit leveling system tied to the seasons in the game.

Because of that system, many players are confused about how the rod works and whether it is worth using. This guide explains how to unlock the Spirit of the Forest Rod, its stats, abilities, and how to level it up efficiently. Also check out our Fisch Codes for more rewards!

How to Get the Spirit of the Forest Rod

To unlock the Spirit of the Forest Rod, you must complete the Everturn Forest questline. The quest chain starts when you talk to the NPC Thalor Virewood on the island.

Here is the basic progression:

  1. Travel to Everturn Forest Island.
  2. Speak with Thalor Virewood to start the quest.
  3. Catch 5 unique Everturn fish.
  4. Complete the next quest by getting 5 Perfect Catches at night.
  5. Equip the Everturn Cloak reward to avoid Oakling enemies attacking you.
  6. Purchase the Split Branch Twig Rod for 25,000 coins.
  7. Catch a Rotting Sturgeon mutation fish using that rod.
  8. Return the fish to Thallor to unlock the Spirit of the Forest Rod.

This rod is essentially the final reward from the Everturn Forest storyline.

Spirit of the Forest Rod Stats

Here are the base stats of the Spirit of the Forest Rod:

  • Lure Speed: 40%
  • Luck: 70%
  • Control: -0.02
  • Resilience: 10%
  • Max Weight: Infinite KG

Compared to other rods, its base stats are fairly balanced. However, the rod becomes powerful through its spirit upgrade system, which improves its stats over time.

Spirit System Explained

The Spirit of the Forest Rod contains five different spirits, each tied to a season.

The spirits include:

  • Spring Spirit – Increases lure speed
  • Summer Spirit – Boosts luck
  • Autumn Spirit – Improves control
  • Winter Spirit – Increases resilience
  • Night Spirit – Improves fishing progress speed

When you first obtain the rod, the spirits appear asleep on the rod.

Each time you catch a fish, there is a small chance (about 5%) to level up the spirit that matches the current season.

For example:

  • If it is Winter, you level the Winter Spirit.
  • If it changes to Summer, you start leveling the Summer Spirit instead.

This means progressing the rod requires fishing across different seasons.

How Spirit Levels Work

Every time a spirit levels up, it increases the stat tied to that spirit.

Examples:

  • Winter upgrades → more resilience
  • Summer upgrades → higher luck
  • Spring upgrades → faster lure speed

Once a spirit reaches a high level, you will start seeing visual effects, such as glowing spirits flying around your character.

When all spirits are fully upgraded, the rod becomes significantly stronger than its base stats suggest.

Is the Spirit of the Forest Rod Worth It?

The Spirit of the Forest Rod is not the strongest rod immediately after unlocking it. However, once you level all of its spirits, it becomes a very flexible rod with balanced stats for many situations.

Advantages:

  • Infinite max weight
  • Multiple stat bonuses
  • Seasonal progression system
  • Unique visual effects

Disadvantages:

  • Requires a lot of grinding
  • Full power takes time to unlock

Because of that, many players consider it a long-term progression rod rather than an instant upgrade.

The Spirit of the Forest Rod is one of the most unique rods added to Fisch. Instead of simply giving high stats, it rewards players who spend time fishing across different seasons and leveling each spirit.

While it may feel average at first, the rod slowly grows stronger as the spirits awaken. Once fully upgraded, it becomes a powerful and visually impressive rod that stands out from many others in the game. For players exploring Everturn Forest, unlocking and upgrading the Spirit of the Forest Rod is definitely one of the most rewarding long-term goals in Fisch.
