Bite by Night is a Roblox horror game where survival depends on teamwork and smart decisions. As a survivor, your main goal is not only to avoid the killer but also to complete several objectives around the map. These objectives are the key to escaping the round.
Many new players often get confused once the round starts. Instead of working on objectives, some players hide for too long or run around the map without a clear goal. When this happens, the team struggles to progress the in-game time and the exit never opens.
Understanding how objectives work is the most important part of surviving in Bite by Night. Once you know what to do and how each objective works, you can help your team reach the end of the round much faster. Also check out our Bite By Night Beginner Guide!
What Are Objectives in Bite by Night?
Objectives are tasks that survivors must complete during a match. Finishing these tasks moves the in-game time forward until it reaches 06:00 AM, which is when the exit door opens. Each round begins at 12:00 AM, so the team must keep completing objectives to push the clock forward.
There are several important rules about objectives:
- Only one player can work on an objective at a time
- All objectives must be completed to progress the round
- Each completed objective advances the game time
Because of this system, teamwork plays a big role in winning. The faster your team completes objectives, the faster the exit will unlock.
All Objectives in Bite by Night
Currently, there are two main objectives survivors must complete during a match.
1. Generator
The generator is one of the largest objectives in the game. It takes longer to complete than other tasks, but it also gives a big boost to the game clock.
To finish one generator, players must complete four repair cycles.
Each cycle involves several steps:
- Press F to start the generator
- Connect the wires by matching the correct colors
- Activate five switches on the left side of the generator
- Pull the lever to complete the cycle
After repeating this process four times, the generator objective will be finished.
Tips when repairing generators:
- Always check the area before starting
- Killers often patrol generator locations
- Be ready to run if the killer approaches
If the area feels unsafe, it is better to leave and return later rather than getting caught.
2. Battery Delivery
The second objective involves delivering batteries across the map. While this task looks simpler than repairing generators, it can still be dangerous because you must carry an item while moving around.
Steps to complete the battery objective:
- Find a battery canister somewhere on the map
- Press T to pick it up
- Press F to mark the delivery location
- Carry the battery to the marked spot
- Press T again to deliver it
The biggest challenge is that you cannot sprint or use abilities while carrying the battery.
If the killer gets close:
- Press X to drop the battery
- Run away from the area immediately
You can return later and continue the delivery when it is safe.
The best strategy is to move the battery when the killer is far away on the other side of the map.
Survivor Abilities That Help With Objectives
Survivors also have basic abilities that help them stay alive while completing tasks.
Q – Heal Ability
Your character eats a slice of pizza to recover some health. This is useful if you are injured but still want to continue working on objectives.
E – Speed Boost
Your character drinks an energy drink that provides a temporary speed boost. Before the boost activates, there is a short slowdown.
This ability is useful for:
- Escaping the killer
- Quickly moving to another objective
- Getting out of dangerous situations
Using these abilities at the right time can help you survive longer during the round.
How Objectives Affect the Game Clock
Every objective that gets completed moves the in-game clock forward.
For example:
- Delivering a battery can move the time forward by around 45 minutes
The main goal for survivors is to reach 06:00 AM. Once the clock reaches that time, the exit will open and survivors can escape.
However, the killer can slow down progress. If survivors are eliminated, the clock may move backward, meaning the team will need to complete more objectives to win.
Because of this, the best strategy is to stay alive while continuing to complete objectives.
Bite by Night is not just about hiding from the killer. The real key to winning is completing objectives as a team. Generators and battery deliveries are the main tasks that push the game clock forward and eventually unlock the exit.
By understanding how each objective works, knowing when to run, and using survivor abilities wisely, you and your team will have a much better chance of surviving until morning. Instead of staying hidden for the entire round, focus on completing objectives and helping your team escape the map.
