Unlike most upgrades that only affect one weapon or melee style, this system works like a passive boost that affects your entire character. However, getting the best powers is not easy. The drop rates are very low, and you will need a large amount of Power Shards if you want to roll one of the mythical powers. How to Unlock the Power System
Before you can start farming Power Shards, you must unlock the Power System first. If you skip this step, enemies will not drop any shards.
Here are the requirements to unlock it:
- Reach Level 11,500
- Talk to the Power NPC
- Pay 5,500 Gems
After unlocking the system, Power Shards will start dropping from enemies across the game.
How the Power System Works
The Power System works like a passive buff system. Instead of improving just one weapon or fighting style, powers improve your entire character build. This makes the system extremely valuable because a strong power can increase your overall damage and performance in all activities. Currently, there are two Mythical Powers available. Both give a huge damage boost, but they are very difficult to obtain. Important details about Mythical Powers:
- Drop chance: 0.2%
- Guaranteed pity after 500 spins
Because the chance is so low, players must collect a very large number of Power Shards to keep spinning for better powers.
Best Location to Farm Power Shards
Once the system is unlocked, Power Shards can drop from any NPC in the game. However, some locations are much better for farming. The best farming location is Lawless Island. Lawless Island has some of the highest level enemies in the game, which makes it one of the best areas for farming rare drops. If your goal is to farm Power Shards quickly, you should spend most of your time defeating enemies on this island.
Best Setup for Power Shard Farming
To farm Power Shards faster, you should also stack several bonuses that increase your luck and item drops.
1. Fortune Chosen Spec Passive
This passive can be obtained from Judgment Island and is one of the best passives for farming.
It provides:
- 30% chance for +1 extra drop
- 10% luck
- 12.5% damage boost
This helps you get more drops while still keeping strong damage for faster farming.
2. Radiant Rune
The Radiant Rune can be obtained from the Infinite Tower. When fully upgraded, it gives:
- +28% luck
This is another strong bonus that improves your farming results over long grinding sessions.
3. Kitsune Race
The Kitsune race is considered the best race for farming because it provides:
- +25% luck multiplier
4. Eminence Clan
The Eminence clan also helps with farming by giving:
- +12% luck
- 25% chance for +1 extra drop
When all of these bonuses are combined, your farming speed and drop chances improve significantly.
