All Stands Bridger Western Guide, What They Do & How to Obtain
Getting a Stand is one of the most important mechanics in Bridger Western. These special abilities give players powerful combat skills, unique moves, and sometimes even time-based powers that can completely change how fights play out. Because Stands are rare and tied to special items, many players spend a lot of time trying to unlock them.
If you are new to the system or still trying to understand how Stand obtainment works, this guide will explain everything you need to know. Below you can learn how to get Stands in Bridger Western, how corpse parts spawn, and what each Stand currently does in the game.
How to Get Stands in Bridger Western

1. Using Corpse Parts
Corpse Parts are the primary way to obtain a Stand. They can spawn randomly around the map when there are at least three players in the server. When a corpse part appears, a loud sound will play across the map and a yellow beam of light will mark the spawn location. This beam stays visible for about 30 seconds, giving players time to find it.
Once you pick up a corpse part, you must hold onto it for a short time so your character can absorb it. During this process your character will pulse with a yellow highlight through walls, which can reveal your location to other players. A few important things to know:
- If you get knocked down or dismembered, the corpse part can fall out.
- The longer you hold the corpse part, the higher your chance of getting a Stand.
- The chance usually caps at around 15–20%.
Stands obtained this way can be either Default or Rare, with time-related powers usually being the rare ones. Corpse parts attempt to spawn every 30 seconds, but the chance depends on how many players are in the server.
- 3 – 1/150
- 5 – 1/140
- 10 – 1/115
- 15 – 1/90
- 20 – 1/65
- 25 – 1/40
Servers with more players will spawn corpse parts more frequently, making farming easier.
2. Arrow Shards
Another way to obtain a Stand is through Arrow Shards. These items are obtained from Fishing, but the drop rate is extremely low. Players only have about a 0.5% chance to get one as a legendary pull. Important things to remember about Arrow Shards:
- They guarantee a Stand when used.
- They cannot be stored or banked.
- If you die or leave the game, the shard will disappear.
- You cannot use one if you already have a Stand.
Because of these restrictions, players usually use Arrow Shards immediately after getting them.
