All Weapons in Bridger Western Guide and What They Do
Weapons are one of the most important parts of Bridger Western. Choosing the right gun can make a huge difference during fights, especially when dealing with other players or dangerous enemies around the map. Each weapon has its own strengths, weaknesses, and playstyle.
Before using different weapon types, there are a few important mechanics to understand. Players cannot equip both a primary and secondary weapon until their character reaches Tier 3. In addition, having a Stand may reduce your base gun damage, although some Stands may not affect it. For example, Mandom is rumored to increase gun damage by around 15%.
Another thing to keep in mind is the reload system. Most revolvers waste bullets when reloading early, meaning remaining bullets in the chamber will be lost unless you have the Veteran card. Below is a complete list of weapons currently available in Bridger Western and how they work.
Primary Weapons

Primary weapons are the standard firearms most players use during the early stages of the game.
Taurus .357
The Taurus .357 is the basic pistol most players start with. It offers balanced performance across most stats and has a decent reload speed. This weapon is reliable for early fights and easy to handle.
Schofield 6
The Schofield 6 is another revolver with fairly balanced stats. It performs well in most situations and reloads quickly compared to other revolvers.
Dual Derringers
Dual Derringers focus on speed rather than power. They deal lower damage but fire extremely quickly and reload fast. Because of the high fire rate, players can burn through ammo very quickly when using them.
Mauser
The Mauser pistol features low recoil and a high fire rate, but its damage is relatively low. While it may not be the strongest weapon, its fast shooting speed can still be useful in close combat.
Whitney Dragoon
The Whitney Dragoon is a powerful revolver with high damage. The downside is its slow reload speed, which means players must be careful when choosing when to reload.
Colt Ocelot
The Colt Ocelot is a special revolver sold by Jim at the Outlaw Camp. Its bullets can ricochet up to three times, allowing them to bounce off surfaces and still hit players.
Bow
The Bow functions like a projectile weapon similar to a sniper, but with lower damage and slower firing speed. It uses special ammo types and allows players to switch between:
- Silver Arrows
- Dynamite Arrows
These arrow types require their own items before they can be used.
Secondary Weapons

Secondary weapons become available once your character reaches Tier 3. These weapons usually offer more range, damage, or specialized combat options.
Winchester Repeater
The Winchester Repeater works like a revolver with extended range. It holds 8 bullets and fires quickly, making it a strong mid-range weapon.
Malcom .70
The Malcom .70 is a scoped rifle with long-range capability. It holds four bullets and can deal 50 damage on headshots. Unlike the Bolt Action Rifle, its damage does not change based on distance.
Bolt Action Rifle
The Bolt Action Rifle is currently unobtainable and is expected to be remodeled in a future update. When available, it will function as a long-range sniper where damage increases with distance. It also uses projectile shots with bullet drop.
Maverick 88
The Maverick 88 is a pump-action shotgun that fires six pellets with relatively low spread. It can eliminate enemies in just a few shots at close range.
DB Shotgun
The Double Barrel Shotgun fires two powerful shots with a very wide spread. It offers good mobility and strong close-range damage. This weapon can be purchased from Jim at the Outlaw Camp.
Tommy Gun
The Tommy Gun is a rapid-fire weapon that holds 25 bullets. It fires quickly with heavy spread, making it useful for suppressing enemies or defending yourself during intense fights.
Mare’s Leg
The Mare’s Leg holds 7 bullets and works similarly to the Winchester Repeater but with faster firing speed and lower damage. It is considered a lighter version of the repeater.
Sabre
The Sabre is a melee weapon that allows players to parry attacks, including other sabres and even certain vampire attacks. With the right cards, it can also block bullets or increase its damage.
Bridger Western offers a wide variety of weapons that fit different playstyles, from fast pistols and powerful revolvers to long-range rifles and heavy shotguns. Some players prefer quick firing weapons like the Tommy Gun, while others may rely on high damage options like the Whitney Dragoon or Maverick 88.
Understanding how each weapon works, along with its strengths and weaknesses, will help you choose the right loadout for your character. As you progress through tiers and unlock secondary weapons, you will gain access to even stronger tools that can completely change how you fight in the world of Bridger Western.
