Progress in Be a Lucky Block heavily depends on one stat: Speed. Many players focus on other upgrades first, but speed is actually the key to unlocking better rewards in the game. With higher speed, you can run farther on the treadmill and reach stronger NPC zones that drop better brainrots. If your speed stays low, you will remain stuck in early areas where the brainrots are weak and generate very little income. Because of this, upgrading speed should always be one of your main goals while progressing.

How to Upgrade Speed in Be a Lucky Block

To increase your speed, you need to visit the Upgrade Shop located inside the safe zone. The shop is labeled “Upgrade,” making it easy to find once you enter the area.

When you walk close to the shop, the upgrade menu automatically opens. Inside this menu, you will see:

  • Your current speed stat
  • The price for the next upgrade
  • The amount of speed you will gain

Every speed upgrade increases your stat by +1 speed. When you first start the game, your character begins with 18 speed. For example, if you buy ten upgrades, your speed will increase from 18 to 28.

To upgrade, simply click the purchase option. The required money will be taken from your balance, and your speed will increase instantly. Your new speed value will appear right away in your stats.

Keep in mind that the cost of upgrades increases over time. The first few levels are relatively cheap, but the price becomes much higher as your speed grows. At the moment, the maximum speed cap in Be a Lucky Block is still unknown, so players continue upgrading as long as they can afford it.

Speed is one of the most important upgrades you can invest in while playing Be a Lucky Block. Increasing it allows you to travel farther, reach stronger NPC zones, and obtain much better brainrots that produce higher income. Since speed remains permanent even after rebirth, focusing on this stat early will make progression much smoother and help you unlock the best rewards in the game faster.
