The next big update for Cookie Run Kingdom is arriving soon, and it brings a major collaboration event. The upcoming patch introduces a crossover with K-Pop Demon Hunters, adding new characters, limited events, and several special rewards. Based on the latest livestream, the update is expected to arrive around April 7 or April 8.

Players will see three brand-new playable cookies, new mini-games, a limited story episode, and a free coupon code with useful rewards. Here is a full breakdown of the leaked skills, event modes, and everything announced during the livestream. Also check out our Cookie Run Kingdom Tier List and CRK Codes for more rewards!

3 New Cookies in the K-Pop Demon Hunters Collaboration

The collaboration will introduce three special cookies inspired by the characters from K-Pop Demon Hunters. Each cookie has a different role in battle.

1. Rumi Cookie

Cookie Run Kingdom

Rumi will be a Special Frontline Ambush Cookie. Her skill allows her to summon a sword before jumping directly to the enemy backline. Once she reaches the target area, she swings her weapon multiple times and deals damage to several enemies before returning to her original position.

Like most ambush-type cookies, Rumi appears to become temporarily invulnerable during her skill animation, which helps her avoid damage while attacking. This ability makes her useful for targeting enemy healers or ranged attackers hiding in the backline.

2. Mira Cookie

Mira is expected to be a Special Frontline Charge Cookie with the skill called Unchained Hunter. When activated, she spins her spear and creates a large wave of blades around her. After the spinning attack, she slams the ground to deal additional area damage.

This skill appears designed to damage multiple enemies at once, making Mira strong in battles where enemies group together.

3. Zoe Cookie

Cookie Run Kingdom

Zoe will be a Special Backline Ranged Cookie. Her skill allows her to throw multiple kunai toward enemies in several lines. At the end of the attack, she jumps into the air and throws a final wave of kunai to deal extra damage. From early footage, the skill may also provide team buffs, although the exact effects are still unknown.

Special Team Effect

Another interesting feature revealed during the livestream is a special synergy effect. If players place Rumi, Mira, and Zoe in the same team, they will gain a unique bonus effect. The exact details have not been revealed yet, and players will need to wait for the official update to see what the bonus does.

Guest Characters and New Costumes

The event will also introduce several guest cookies.

The Saja Boys will appear in the game and receive idol-style costumes. Players may also see guest characters such as Derpy and Sussy, although they are likely limited event guests rather than playable units.

In addition, some cookies will receive collaboration outfits, including a Hunter-style costume for Golden Cookie.

Once certain costumes are unlocked, players may also be able to watch special performance scenes.

This collaboration update is also important because it marks the beginning of a new development direction. A new producer will be taking over future updates, starting with this collaboration event. The next major update planned for May will introduce the Timekeeper storyline, and the developers also mentioned improvements to game performance and player feedback features.

With three new cookies, several mini-games, and plenty of rewards, the K-Pop Demon Hunters collaboration looks like one of the biggest Cookie Run Kingdom updates of the year. Players can expect more details to appear as the release date gets closer.
