The Easter event in 99 Nights in the Forest introduces a large egg hunt across the map. Players can search for different types of eggs and exchange them for rewards. One of the biggest prizes from this event is a limited UGC item, which can be unlocked by collecting enough eggs.
However, this item is available in limited quantity, so players should complete the challenge as quickly as possible. Eggs appear in many areas across the map, including random locations and special landmarks. Below is a full guide explaining how the egg system works and where you can find each egg.
How the Easter Egg System Works
The map in 99 Nights in the Forest is generated differently each time you play. Because of this, eggs do not always appear in exactly the same position in every match. Even though the map layout changes, the method to obtain each egg stays the same. For example, the Lightning Egg will always appear under umbrellas and must be struck by lightning before it can be collected.
After finding eggs, players should bring them to the Easter Bunny NPC at the camp. Turning in eggs gives two types of rewards:
- Egg currency used to buy items from the Easter Bunny shop
- Instant rewards given when eggs are submitted
Collecting enough eggs also unlocks the limited UGC reward, making the event worth completing.
How to Unlock the Limited UGC
To unlock the event’s limited UGC item in 99 Nights in the Forest, players must collect at least 10 eggs in total. To finish the challenge faster, it is recommended to focus on eggs tied to specific locations such as:
- Basketball courts
- Cave systems
- Volcanic areas
Working together with teammates can also make the process faster since multiple players can search different areas of the map at the same time.
All Easter Egg Locations in 99 Nights in the Forest
Here are the different egg types you can find during the event and how to obtain them.
Basic Egg
Basic eggs appear randomly across the map. When players get close, these eggs may roll away, so you need to react quickly to pick them up before they escape.
Hard Mode Egg
Travel to the Hard Mode building and activate the Hard Mode challenge. After activating it, the Hard Mode Egg will spawn inside the building.
Lightning Egg
This egg appears under umbrellas around the map. It cannot be stored immediately. Instead, place it on the ground during a thunderstorm and wait for lightning to strike it. After that, you can pick it up and store it.
UFO Egg
Watch the sky for UFOs flying overhead. Follow them until they crash. At the crash site, defeat all aliens that appear. There is a chance the UFO Egg will drop after the fight.
Basketball Hoop Egg
This egg spawns near basketball court areas around the map. Check the courts carefully to find it.
Fishing Egg
Players can obtain this egg by fishing in water locations across the map.
Lava Egg
Look for this egg in volcanic biomes near lava pools. Be careful when exploring these areas because lava can damage players.
Chicken Egg
To obtain this egg, you must guide baby chickens back to their nest. After returning six chickens, the Chicken Egg will appear on top of the hut.
Cave Egg
Explore caves whenever you discover them. The Cave Egg often appears inside dark cave tunnels or near cave entrances.
Cooked Egg
Collect three Basic Eggs, then cook them. Doing this produces the Cooked Egg.
Firefly Egg
This egg is always located inside a Firefly Cage. Place the egg near fireflies to charge it. Once it is fully charged, it can be submitted to the Easter Bunny.
Easter Bunny’s Egg
Go to the Easter Building near the campfire and interact with the map inside. This reveals the location of the Evil Bunny Hut.
Travel there and steal the egg. Once you pick it up, it will attach to your character’s back and the Evil Bunny will begin chasing you. Run back to the campfire safely to complete the challenge and receive a ruby chest reward.
The Easter event in 99 Nights in the Forest adds a large scavenger hunt that encourages players to explore the map and complete different challenges. Each egg has its own method of collection, which makes the event more interesting than simply searching random locations.
Since the limited UGC reward requires a certain number of eggs and is only available for a limited time, players should focus on landmark eggs and coordinate with teammates. With the right approach, collecting all the required eggs becomes much easier.
