Bite by Night recently received a new quality-of-life update that adds fresh content, balance adjustments, and several bug fixes. This update focuses on improving gameplay while also introducing new cosmetics and features that give players more reasons to keep playing.

The update arrived on April 7, bringing changes to skins, emotes, the in-game interface, and several gameplay systems. Some prices were also adjusted, and multiple characters received balance tweaks. Below is a full breakdown of everything added or changed in the latest Bite by Night update.

New Content Added in the Update

The latest patch introduced several new cosmetic items and quality-of-life improvements to the game.

New Killer Skins

Several new skins were added for the Doppelganger killer. These skins allow players to customize their appearance without affecting gameplay.

New skins include:

  • Anomaly – Doppelganger skin
  • Mime – Doppelganger skin
  • Spaghetti – Doppelganger skin

These skins can be purchased using Scrap, which players earn by playing matches.

New Emotes

The update also introduced multiple emotes that players can use during matches or in the lobby. New emotes include:

  • Low Cortisol
  • Birdbrain
  • Pop Dat
  • Math
  • Good For You

Some killers also received exclusive emotes:

  • Low Cortisol – Doppelganger exclusive
  • Flex – Doppelganger exclusive
  • Macarena – The Project exclusive

These emotes are purely cosmetic and do not provide any gameplay advantage.

Daily Rewards System

A daily reward feature has been added. Players can now earn Scrap simply by logging into the lobby each day. This system makes it easier to collect Scrap over time without needing to grind multiple matches. Even logging in briefly each day will slowly build up your currency.

New HUD Design

The developers also updated the in-game HUD (Heads-Up Display). The new interface is cleaner and easier to read during gameplay, making it simpler to track important information.

Photosensitive Warning

A photosensitive warning now appears when launching the game. Since Bite by Night uses bright lighting effects and flashes during gameplay, this warning helps players who may be sensitive to visual effects.

Codes System Added

The update also introduced a codes redemption feature. Players can now redeem special codes to receive rewards such as Scrap or other bonuses.

More codes are expected to appear during future updates and events.

These changes make barricades slightly less powerful during matches.

When Will the Next Bite by Night Update Release?

The developers have not announced a specific release date for the next update yet. According to them, the current focus is on bug fixes and polishing the game rather than immediately adding new content.

Because of that, the next major update may take some time. However, future updates could include new killers, survivor classes, or additional maps.

Bite by Night Codes – Are There Any?

  • SORRYGUYS | +1000 Scrap

The latest Bite by Night update brings several useful improvements along with new skins, emotes, and gameplay adjustments. The addition of daily rewards and a codes system also gives players more ways to earn Scrap and unlock cosmetics over time.

While the update mostly focuses on balance changes and quality-of-life improvements, it sets a good foundation for future content updates. With the developers continuing to polish the game, players can likely expect even more features and content in the coming months.
