How to Unlock Champion Kor Skin in Fortnite for Free
The Champion Kor skin can be earned by participating in the FNCS Champion Kor Cups. These tournaments are competitive events where players fight for points and leaderboard placements. To unlock the skin for free, you must finish within the top ranking positions for your region during the event. Follow these steps to participate:
- Register for either the Battle Royale FNCS Cup or the Mobile FNCS Cup.
- Join the tournament when it begins on April 11, 2026.
- Play matches and collect points to climb the leaderboard.
- Finish within the qualifying placements for your region.
- After the tournament ends, the rewards will be granted automatically.
Only players who reach the required placements will receive the Champion Kor skin and the other exclusive cosmetics.
When Are the Champion Kor FNCS Cups?
Both tournaments will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Epic Games is hosting two different events so more players can take part.
The available competitions include:
- Champion Kor FNCS Cup This is a Battle Royale Duos tournament, meaning you must compete alongside a teammate.
- Champion Kor Mobile FNCS Cup This event is a Solo competition that takes place in Blitz mode and is designed specifically for mobile players.
Players can view full tournament details, including start times for their region, in the Compete tab inside Fortnite.
Champion Kor FNCS Cup Rewards
The Battle Royale version of the tournament offers several rewards depending on your placement and the points you earn. Players who reach the top placements in their region can unlock the full reward set:

- Kor’s Victory Wrap
- Assassin’s Emblem Back Bling
- Competitor’s Prybar Pickaxe
There are also rewards for reaching certain point milestones:

The number of teams that can earn the skin varies by region.

- Europe: Top 1,175 teams
- NA Central: Top 450 teams
- NA West: Top 200 teams
- Brazil: Top 200 teams
- Oceania: Top 125 teams
- Asia: Top 125 teams
- Middle East: Top 125 teams
Europe has the highest number of reward spots because of its large player base, although the level of competition is also very high.
Champion Kor Mobile FNCS Cup Rewards
The Mobile FNCS Cup offers the same cosmetic rewards but uses a solo format. Because players compete individually, the number of winners is smaller. Top placements for each region will receive:

Point-based rewards remain the same:

Because the player limits are lower, reaching the top ranks in the mobile event can be more challenging.
Will Champion Kor Appear in the Item Shop?
Players who cannot join the tournaments still have another option. Epic Games confirmed that the Champion Kor skin will eventually appear in the Fortnite Item Shop. Once it becomes available there, players will be able to purchase it using V-Bucks. However, participating in the FNCS cups is currently the only way to unlock the skin for free.
The Champion Kor FNCS tournaments offer competitive Fortnite players a chance to earn several exclusive cosmetics, including a full outfit, wrap, pickaxe, and back bling.
