What Is the Kelpie Event?

Each week has its own set of objectives and rewards. The first week includes an XP progress page along with hidden eggs that players must collect across different maps. Completing both tasks will unlock the rewards available for that week.
How to Access the Event Menu
To open the Kelpie Event menu, look at the bottom-right corner of the screen. You will see a Kelpie icon that opens the event interface. Inside this menu you can:
- Check your current event progress
- View the weekly pages
- See the eggs you have collected
- Claim rewards once requirements are completed
This menu is where you track everything related to the event.
How to Earn Kelpie Event XP
The main way to earn event XP is by interacting with a creature called Kelpie during matches.
Kelpie does not appear in every round. It spawns randomly inside maps and can be found emerging from cosmic pit holes scattered around the level.
When Kelpie appears, you should look for these glowing holes on the ground. One of them will contain the Kelpie creature.
After finding it, press E to interact. Kelpie will give you a random challenge to complete.
Examples of these challenges include:
- Surviving a number of floors
- Completing tasks while a special modifier is active
- Playing under temporary conditions like stealth boosts
Each challenge rewards a different amount of event XP.
Event Challenges and Effects
When you accept a Kelpie challenge, the game will apply a temporary effect. One example mentioned in the update is a stealth bonus that lasts for several floors.
Your current challenge will appear on the screen along with an icon showing the active modifier. Once the objective is completed, the XP reward is automatically added to your event progress.

Collecting Hidden Eggs
Alongside the XP system, the event also includes four hidden eggs placed across different maps.
These eggs must be discovered during gameplay and collected manually. Each egg is tied to the current event week.
Once all eggs are found, players can unlock additional rewards connected to the event.
Collecting the eggs does not replace the XP requirement. Both systems work together to unlock the full reward set.

When enough XP is earned to complete the event page, players can press the claim button in the Kelpie menu.
