Progressing through the Olympus update in Roblox Fisch isn’t just about catching stronger fish anymore. Some parts of the game now require you to explore, complete hidden mechanics, and collect special items like Shield Fragments.

These fragments are required to unlock deeper areas and complete the Bellona challenge. If you’re missing even one piece, you won’t be able to move forward. This guide explains where to find every Shield Fragment and how to get them faster. Also check out our Fisch Codes for more rewards!

What Are Shield Fragments?

Shield Fragments are special items used to repair a broken shield inside the Olympus event area.

Once you collect and submit all fragments:

  • A sealed gate will open
  • You unlock access to new zones and rewards
  • You can progress toward high-tier items like Bellona’s War Axe

There are multiple fragment types, and each one is obtained differently.

How to Get All Shield Fragments

You need to collect several fragments scattered across fishing and event mechanics. Here’s how to get each type.

1. Basic Fragments (Fishing Drops)

These are the easiest ones to get.

How to obtain:

  • Fish normally in the Olympus/Grand Reef area
  • Fragments drop randomly while fishing

Common types include:

  • Cracked fragments
  • Shattered fragments
  • Sunken fragments

Tips:

  • Keep fishing consistently
  • Use balanced rods for faster catches
  • Stay in the same area to farm efficiently

2. Rare Fragment from Red Water Event

Some fragments only appear during the Red Water Event (War Surge).

How to trigger it:

  • Perform 5 perfect catches in a row
  • The water will turn red

What to do next:

  • Fish during the event
  • Look for rare drops that don’t appear normally

One of the required fragments can only be obtained during this phase, so don’t skip it.

3. Trial Reward Fragment

There is also a fragment locked behind a skill challenge.

Steps:

  • Enter the deeper area after progressing the event
  • Complete a trial requiring 5 flawless catches before time runs out

Reward:

  • A guaranteed Shield Fragment

This is one of the more difficult parts, so take your time with timing.

4. Final Fragment (Red Water Exclusive Drop)

The last fragment is usually the hardest to get.

How to obtain:

  • Trigger the Red Water Event again
  • Continue fishing until you get the final drop

This piece often has a unique name (like a “bloodied” or special shard), and it won’t appear outside the event.

Where to Submit Shield Fragments

After collecting each piece:

  • Return to the guard statue in the event area
  • Submit all fragments one by one

Once completed:

  • The shield will be restored
  • A hidden gate will unlock

Tips to Get Fragments Faster

  • Focus on perfect catches early to trigger events faster
  • Use garbage bait + low luck rods if you need common drops
  • Switch servers if the event is hard to trigger
  • Stay patient—some fragments are RNG-based

Collecting all Shield Fragments in Fisch takes a mix of grinding and skill, especially with the Red Water Event and trial challenges involved. It might feel slow at first, but once you understand where each piece comes from, the process becomes much easier. Make sure you don’t skip the event phases, since some fragments are completely locked behind them. Finish the full set, and you’ll unlock new areas along with some of the best rewards in the Olympus update.
