Getting Spin in Bridger: Western isn’t something you unlock by accident. It takes time, a bit of patience, and a few steps that can feel confusing if you don’t know what to expect. Some parts are straightforward, while others depend on luck or grinding in specific areas. If you’re aiming to unlock Spin as efficiently as possible, this guide walks through every step clearly, including the tricky parts that most players get stuck on. Step 1: Meet the Requirements First
Before doing anything, make sure your character is under 40 years old. If you’re above that limit, the process won’t work, and you’ll be locked out of progressing with Spin. There’s also an important choice to keep in mind. Spin does not pair well with Vampire (and in most cases, you can’t have both). So if you’re planning your build, decide early before committing.
Step 2: Find the Spin Location
The next step is to locate one of the Spin interaction spots, often referred to as the “Spin wall” or “Spin floor.” These can spawn in multiple places, but desert areas tend to have the easiest and most accessible locations. Once you find one:
- Stand near it for a few minutes (around 3–5 minutes)
- If nothing happens, move to another spawn location and try again
This part can take some patience since not every location will trigger immediately.
Step 3: Talk to Gyro
After interacting with the Spin location, your next objective is to find Gyro, the NPC tied to unlocking the ability. A common place to find him is:
- Near the swamp area
- Inside or around a church near the Witch’s Hut
Keep in mind that Gyro doesn’t always appear in the same spot, so you may need to check multiple locations. When you talk to him:
- He may reject you if you don’t meet requirements (like age)
- If accepted, he’ll give you your next task
Step 4: Get a 15–20 Kill Streak (Bare Hands Only)
This is one of the hardest parts of the process. You need to head to the Red Corner Fight Club and:
- Fight using bare hands only (no weapons, no guns)
- Achieve a 15 to 20 kill streak
- Land the final hit yourself for it to count
A few important notes:
- If you die, your streak resets
- It gets chaotic since many players are trying to do the same thing
- Using a friend or an alternate account can make this step much easier
Consistency matters more than speed here, so take your time and avoid unnecessary risks.
Step 5: Return to Gyro
Once you’ve completed the kill streak, go back to Gyro and talk to him again. If everything is done correctly, he’ll move you to the next requirement. If not, double-check your streak progress and make sure all kills were done with bare hands.
Step 6: Defeat the True Duelist NPC
Now comes one of the most frustrating steps. You need to find and defeat a special NPC called the True Duelist. The challenge is:
- This NPC spawns randomly
- You’ll need to wander around and fight NPCs
- Look for enemies with a red “Duelist” label above their head
Once you find the right one:
- Defeat it
- This will give you the required mark/progress
This step can take time, so expect some trial and error while searching.
Step 7: Pay and Unlock Spin
After defeating the True Duelist, return to Gyro one last time. At this stage:
- You’ll be asked to pay a fee (usually somewhere between 15,000 to 30,000 in-game currency)
- Once paid, you’ll finally unlock Spin
Make sure you have enough money ready so you don’t have to grind again before finishing the process.
Unlocking Spin in Bridger: Western is a mix of exploration, combat skill, and a bit of luck. The hardest parts for most players are the fight club streak and finding the True Duelist, but once those are done, the rest is straightforward. Take it step by step, don’t rush the grind, and prepare ahead—especially for the fight club section. Once you finally unlock Spin, it opens up a completely different playstyle, making the effort worth it.
