The Easter Part 3 update in Grow a Garden brings one of the biggest event expansions so far. While earlier parts introduced smaller mechanics, this update focuses heavily on a large-scale event system, new seeds, pets, and a completely reworked egg activity.

At first glance, it might look confusing because there are multiple systems running at the same time. But once you break it down, everything revolves around collecting points, earning rewards, and maximizing efficiency during the event. Also check out our Grow a Garden Codes for more rewards!

Easter Event Overview

At the center of the map, you’ll find a brand-new event area with an NPC named Wally Rapper. This is where the main event takes place. The concept is simple: collect candy plants and submit them to earn points. The more points you turn in, the more rewards you unlock. However, this event is split into two parts:

  • Solo progression
  • Team-based progression

Both systems run at the same time, but each has different rewards and requirements.

How the Candy Event Works

Easter Part 3 Update in Grow a Garden Guide, Explained!

To participate, you need to gather plants that count as “candy” types. These are usually plants with mutations, higher rarity, or larger size. Instead of submitting everything right away, it’s better to choose your best plants. Higher-quality plants give more points, and in most cases, the maximum you can get per plant is around 7 points. The goal is to keep farming, upgrading your plants, and submitting the best ones to increase your total score.

Solo Rewards Explained

Solo rewards are based entirely on your personal contribution. As you reach certain point milestones, you’ll unlock rewards such as:

  • Bunny Berry seed
  • Chalk Coins
  • Easter Crates
  • Special items and eventually rare rewards like eggs

This system is straightforward. The more you grind and submit, the further you progress.

Team Event System

Alongside solo progress, there’s also a team system where you can invite up to three other players. Your team shares a combined score based on everyone’s contributions. Once your team reaches certain milestones—starting from 25,000 points—you unlock additional rewards. However, there’s an important detail: once you join a team, you can’t leave it. That means choosing active players is important. If your teammates don’t contribute, your progress slows down.

Egg Wars Event Explained

Easter Part 3 Update in Grow a Garden Guide, Explained!

The previous egg hunt system has been replaced with a new mode called Egg Wars. In this event, eggs spawn across the map, and players compete to collect them. You can only carry one egg at a time, and other players can attack you to steal it. Egg rarity determines the rewards:

  • Golden Egg – basic rewards
  • Rare Egg – includes items like chocolate sprinklers
  • Legendary Egg – better rewards with higher value
  • Mythical Egg – rare items and resources
  • Divine Egg – best rewards, including exclusive seeds and special eggs

Once all eggs are collected, the event ends, and you’ll need to wait before it starts again.

All New Seeds in Easter Part 3

This update introduces several new seeds, both from the event and Egg Wars.

  • Bunny Berry One of the easiest seeds to obtain. It doesn’t look impressive, but it sells for a decent amount and is good early in the event.
  • Bonnet Bloom A higher-value plant that can sell for significantly more depending on size. It’s a strong option for earning money.
  • Egg Shroom A unique plant that produces one item at a time. It requires patience but still offers solid value.
  • Jelly Bean Sprout One of the most valuable seeds in the update. It produces multiple fruits and has very high selling potential.
  • Waddling Willow A standout plant both visually and in value. It produces multiple items and can sell for a high price, making it one of the best seeds in this update.
  • Marshmallow Root Obtained mainly from Egg Wars, especially higher-tier eggs. It’s another strong option for profit and farming.

New Pets from Spring Tide Egg

The update also introduces a new egg called the Spring Tide Egg, which contains several pets.

  • Candy Squirrel A pet that can apply candy mutations to your plants, helping increase their value over time.
  • Spring Bee Works similarly to other bees but adds extra mutation chances, making it useful for farming boosted plants.
  • Jerboa Focuses on speeding up plant growth, making it helpful for newer players or faster farming setups.
  • Nyala Provides bonuses to mutated fruits and gives additional XP to nearby pets. Useful if you rely on mutation stacking.
  • Peryton The rarest and strongest pet in this update. It gives massive XP boosts to all pets and has a chance to apply a powerful special mutation. This pet is especially useful for players focusing on leveling pets quickly.

Easter Part 3 in Grow a Garden adds a lot more depth compared to earlier updates. Between the candy submission system, team mechanics, Egg Wars, and new rewards, there’s plenty to work on. Once you understand how everything connects—farming plants, earning points, and unlocking rewards—the event becomes much easier to manage. With the right strategy, you can maximize both solo and team rewards while also collecting some of the best seeds and pets currently available in the game.
