Update 1 in Bizarre Lineage adds several new stands, and Diver Down is one of the more unique ones thanks to its delayed damage mechanics and strong burst potential. While the process to unlock it is slightly longer compared to other stands, it’s still very doable if you follow the right steps. This guide explains the full progression, from farming materials to crafting and finally unlocking Diver Down.

Requirements to Get Diver Down

Bizarre Lineage Update 1: How to Get Diver Down Fast Guide

Before starting, you’ll need three key items:

  • Mysterious Arrow
  • Deep Stone
  • Deep Dive Arrow (crafted item)

The first two are materials, while the last one is what you’ll actually use to obtain the stand.

Step 1: Farm Deep Stone (Prison Escape Raid)

Bizarre Lineage Update 1: How to Get Diver Down Fast Guide

The most important material here is Deep Stone, and the main way to get it is through the Prison Escape Raid. Head to any bus stop and travel to Bus Stop 1, where you’ll find the raid entrance. Once inside, you’ll need to clear multiple stages filled with enemies.

The raid works in phases. First, clear all enemies in the starting area before moving forward. After that, continue progressing through the next section by defeating every NPC in your path. During the run, you’ll eventually find Anasui, an NPC tied directly to the Diver Down stand.

Step 2: Fight Anasui for Extra Drop Chance

Anasui plays a key role in increasing your chances of getting Deep Stone. Once you find him inside one of the rooms, you can talk to him and pay a small amount of cash to fight. Defeating him gives you a chance to obtain Deep Stone early.

After progressing further and escaping the prison, you’ll face Anasui again near the exit gate. This is another opportunity to defeat him and potentially get the drop. If you want to farm efficiently, always fight Anasui whenever possible to maximize your chances.

Step 3: Get Mysterious Arrow Fast

The second requirement, Mysterious Arrow, can be obtained from raids. Some of the best options include:

  • Area 13 Raid (fastest method)
  • Prison Escape Raid
  • Other new raids like Dio encounters

Among these, Area 13 is usually the quickest way to farm arrows consistently.

Step 4: Craft Deep Dive Arrow

Once you have both Deep Stone and Mysterious Arrow, head to the crafting NPC Gupta. You can find Gupta in multiple locations around the map, often near raid areas. Talk to him and select the option to craft the Deep Dive Arrow. This item is required to unlock Diver Down and will consume your materials upon crafting.

Step 5: Unlock Diver Down

Before using the Deep Dive Arrow, make sure to remove or store your current stand. This step is important to avoid accidentally losing something valuable. Once ready:

  1. Use the Deep Dive Arrow
  2. Confirm the action
  3. Wait for the transformation

After that, you’ll unlock Diver Down.

If your stats aren’t good, you can repeat the process until you get a better roll.

Diver Down Passive and Playstyle

Bizarre Lineage Update 1: How to Get Diver Down Fast Guide

Diver Down has a very different combat style compared to most stands. Its attacks often apply delayed damage, meaning the hit doesn’t always show instantly. This can confuse opponents and makes it strong in PvP situations where timing matters. Because of this mechanic, the stand rewards players who understand positioning and timing rather than just spamming abilities.

Moveset Overview

Diver Down comes with a set of fast and hard-hitting abilities:

  • Barrage (E) A standard attack, but with delayed damage that hits slightly after the animation.
  • Heavy Attack (R) A powerful strike that can deal significant burst damage.
  • Kinetic Kick (Z) Fast attack with surprisingly low cooldown, making it very spammable.
  • Additional Skills (X, C, V) These abilities deal heavy damage and can stack with delayed effects, creating strong burst combos.

Some skills may feel unusually fast or strong, which could be due to current balancing or bugs.

Perks Breakdown

Diver Down also includes several useful perks:

  • Face Shift Below 50% HP, you have a chance to store incoming damage and gain high defense.
  • Absolve Healing becomes more effective when your health is low.
  • Kinetic Boost Stored attacks gain extra penetration and increased damage.

These perks make Diver Down more effective in longer fights, especially when managing low HP situations.

Diver Down is a strong stand if you enjoy a more technical playstyle. The delayed damage mechanic can be confusing at first, but once you get used to it, it becomes a powerful tool—especially in PvP. It also has very fast cooldowns, allowing you to pressure enemies constantly.

Diver Down takes a bit more effort to unlock compared to other stands in Update 1 in Bizarre Lineage, mainly due to the Prison Escape Raid farming. But with the right approach, you can speed up the process and get it without too much trouble. If you’re looking for something different from the usual straightforward stands, Diver Down offers a unique playstyle with high damage potential and strong combo opportunities.
