Anime Guardians Update 28 Guide – New Units, Codes, Guild War & More
Update 28 in Anime Guardians brings one of the biggest changes the game has seen so far. From powerful new units to a full Guild system and a brand-new Solo Leveling event, there’s a lot to go through, especially if you want to stay ahead. This update isn’t just about new content—it also changes how you farm, progress, and play with others. Here’s a full breakdown of everything added in Update 28 and what you should focus on first.
New Units in Update 28
Update 28 introduces four major units, including one of the most hyped characters so far.
- Sung Jin-Woo (Shadow Emperor) + Shiny Version
- Cha Hae-In (Light of God)
- Antares (Monarch of Destruction)
- Kamish (Dragon Monarch)
Sung Jin-Woo stands out the most here, especially with a Shiny version available. Meanwhile, Antares and Kamish are tied closely to Guild content and late-game progression.
New Solo Leveling Event – Bridge of Monarch
This new event stage changes how combat works.
- Enemies are based on hit count instead of HP
- Every 3 waves, you can pick a random card (buff system)
This makes the mode more strategy-based instead of pure damage scaling.
Drops List:
- Solaris Loop (11.12%)
- Voidroot Crystal (11.11%)
- Honeycore Relic (11.11%)
- Vitalcore Shard (11.11%)
- Sunblossom Core (11.11%)
- Sylvan Dragon Relic (11.11%)
- Astryx Shard (11.11%)
- Scarlet Pulse (11.11%)
- Eldritch Node (11.11%)
- Spirit Ghost (1–3 drops, 4%)
- Flame Butterfly (1–3 drops, 5%)
- Kamish (Dragon Monarch) – 0.5%
Kamish is the rarest drop here, so expect heavy grinding if you’re targeting it.
New Guild System Explained
One of the biggest additions in Update 28 is the Guild system. Now you can:
- Join or create a guild
- Play with friends
- Compete in Guild Wars
- Climb a global leaderboard
Guild Features
Guilds come with several upgrades and management tools:
- Increase max member capacity
- Boost unit damage
- Improve drop rates (items & units)
- Manage ranks and invitations
- Compete in Guild Leaderboards
This system adds long-term progression outside of normal gameplay.
Guild War Event – Castle Kingdom Monarch
The new Guild War mode is where most endgame players will spend time.
How it works:
- Buff and farm units are locked at the start
- You must unlock them by talking to Sung Jin-Woo
- Additional upgrades are handled by Kamish
Wave Mechanics:
- Every 10 waves → Random boss spawns
- Every 20 waves → Antares appears
Rewards:
- Defeating enemies → 5 Monarch Coins
- Defeating bosses → 100 Monarch Coins
- Boss kills → 1 Guild Point for all players
The deeper you go, the higher your rewards become.
Important Tip:
To obtain Sung Jin-Woo, you must:
- Restart the run OR
- Let enemies reach your base
New Unit Buffs & Passives
Several units received new passives, making them more useful, especially for newer players.
- Hu Tao (Ghostly March)
- Ellen Joe
- Miyabi
- Castorice
- Kafka
These buffs make early and mid-game progression smoother.
