Clockmaster Class Guide in Survive the Apocalypse & How to Get!

Some classes in Survive the Apocalypse are strong, some are fun, but a few are just straight-up rare. The Clockmaster falls into that last category. This is a secret class that almost no one has, and it completely changes how you approach the game. Instead of focusing on raw damage or defense, Clockmaster plays around time itself. That sounds powerful—and it is—but it also comes with some clear trade-offs that you need to understand before judging it. Also check out our Survive the Apocalypse Codes for more rewards!

How to Get the Clockmaster Class

The Clockmaster is not something you can buy or grind for. Right now, the only way to get it is:

  • Directly from the game owner
  • Through special giveaways (usually on Discord)

It was given out during milestones like hitting 100,000 concurrent players, and only a very small number of players actually have it. Realistically, you shouldn’t expect to unlock it anytime soon.

Clockmaster Base Stats and Buffs

Even without abilities, the class already gives solid boosts:

  • +22% reload speed
  • +22% fire rate
  • +22% sprint speed
  • No starter weapon

These buffs make your character feel faster and smoother overall, but the lack of a starting weapon can slow down your early game if you don’t find loot quickly.

All Clockmaster Abilities Explained

This class revolves around three unique abilities: Past, Present, and Future. Each one affects time in a different way.

Past Ability (Rewind Movement)

This ability sends you back about 5 seconds in time, repositioning you instantly.

It’s useful for:

  • Escaping when surrounded
  • Fixing bad positioning

However, in normal fights, it doesn’t add much value. It’s more situational than game-changing.

Present Ability (Time Freeze)

This is the strongest ability in the kit.

When activated:

  • All enemies freeze for around 6–7 seconds
  • You can attack freely without taking damage

This is extremely useful when:

  • You’re surrounded by a large group
  • Fighting tough enemies
  • Clearing crowded areas like power plants

Used correctly, this ability can save your run.

Future Ability (Skip Days)

This is what makes Clockmaster unique.

  • Instantly skips days based on your day multiplier
  • Has a 10-minute cooldown
  • Keeps your current time of day unchanged

For example, if your multiplier is x5, you skip 5 full days instantly.

This allows you to:

  • Progress much faster
  • Reach high days like 50+ or even 100 quickly
  • Skip slower early-game phases

It’s incredibly strong for speedrunning, but it doesn’t help you survive fights.

Best Strategy When Using Clockmaster

Clockmaster isn’t a combat-focused class, so your playstyle needs to adjust. Focus on:

  • Farming scrap early to build beds (day multipliers)
  • Increasing your multiplier as fast as possible
  • Using Future ability whenever it’s ready
  • Saving Present ability for dangerous situations

Also, since you don’t get strong weapons from the class:

  • Prioritize looting for guns and armor
  • Build defenses like turrets early
  • Don’t rely only on abilities to survive

Weaknesses You Should Know

Even though it sounds overpowered, Clockmaster has clear downsides.

  • No strong starting weapon
  • Limited combat abilities compared to other classes
  • Future ability has a long cooldown
  • Can struggle if you get unlucky with loot

In tough fights like Blood Moons or base raids, you’ll still need proper gear. The class won’t carry you on its own.

Is Clockmaster Actually Overpowered?

  • Not exactly.

Clockmaster is insanely good for progression, but not for fighting. If your goal is to reach higher days quickly, it’s one of the best classes in the game. But if you care about combat, other classes like Berserker or Commander perform much better.

The Clockmaster is one of the most unique classes in Roblox Survive the Apocalypse, but it’s also one of the most situational. It shines when you want to skip time and move fast through the game, but it struggles in direct combat without good gear. If you ever get the chance to use it, treat it as a speedrun class rather than a survival powerhouse. That’s where it performs best.
