Bikes in Neverness to Everness don’t usually get as much attention compared to outfits or car skins. Most players focus on fashion or flashy vehicles, while motorcycles feel a bit plain. But there’s actually a hidden trick that lets you turn your bike into something much more interesting—adding fire effects that completely change how it looks while riding.

If you’ve seen players riding around with flame bikes and wondered how they did it, the process is not obvious at all. It involves specific characters, a hidden boss event, and a special weapon. Here’s a full breakdown so you can unlock it yourself.

Requirements Before You Start

Before anything else, you need two key things. Without these, the flame effect simply won’t work. First, you must have a Plasma-type character. At the moment, the easiest options are Hathor or Nanali. These characters are important because the flame effect is tied to their element.

Second, you need a motorcycle. Bikes can be purchased in-game, but they are quite expensive, so just go with whatever you can afford for now. The type of bike doesn’t matter much, as long as it’s a two-wheeled vehicle (not a scooter). Once you have both, you’re ready to move to the hidden part of the process.

How to Trigger the Biker Anomaly Boss

This is where things get a bit unusual. Instead of using your bike, you actually need to get inside a car. This can be your own vehicle or one borrowed from another player. For some reason, motorcycles won’t trigger the event. After that, follow these steps:

  • Set your in-game time to around 10:00 PM
  • Drive to the required location (an anomaly spawn area)
  • Wait for the event to trigger

If done correctly, the Biker Anomaly Boss will appear. You’ll enter a short chase sequence followed by a fight.

The fight itself isn’t too difficult, and if it drags on, other agents may join to help you finish it faster.

Get the Raging Flames Arc (Secret Weapon)

After defeating the boss, you’ll receive an Arc called Raging Flames. This is actually Hathor’s signature weapon, and it’s the core item needed to unlock the flame bike effect. Without this Arc, the trick won’t work at all. Once you obtain it, leave the combat instance and prepare for the final step.

How to Activate the Flame Bike Effect

Now that you have everything, here’s what to do:

  • Equip the Raging Flames Arc on your Plasma character (preferably Hathor)
  • Call your motorcycle
  • Interact with the bike using that same character

If done correctly, your bike will now have flame effects while driving. There’s one important detail here: The character interacting with the bike must be the one holding the Arc. If you switch characters, the effect won’t activate.

Can You Use Other Characters?

Yes, but with limitations. If you don’t have Hathor, you can equip the Arc on Nanali or other Plasma characters. The effect will still work, but it won’t perform as well since the weapon is designed specifically for Hathor. So while it’s a decent temporary setup, it’s not ideal long-term.

Getting a flame bike in Neverness to Everness isn’t something you’ll stumble into by accident. It requires a mix of preparation, a hidden boss fight, and understanding how character elements interact with equipment. That’s what makes it feel rewarding once you finally unlock it.

While the system isn’t perfect and clearly favors certain characters, it still adds a fun layer to customization—especially for players who want something different from the usual cosmetics. If you’re already investing time into the game, this is one of those small secrets that’s worth picking up along the way.
