Fusion Piece just dropped a major update featuring two new characters: Kafka and Herta. Alongside them, there’s also a limited-time event and a new dungeon system that ties everything together. If you’re aiming to unlock both characters efficiently, you’ll need to understand how the dungeon, materials, and banner system work. This guide breaks everything down so you can farm smarter and unlock both units faster.

How to Get Kafka in Fusion Piece

Fusion Piece Kafka & Herta Guide, How to Get Them!

Kafka is not obtained through a banner. Instead, she is tied to the new dungeon system.

Steps to Unlock Kafka

First, head to Fusion Town and locate the Kafka Seller NPC. This NPC shows you the materials required to unlock Kafka. To get those materials, you need to:

  • Go to Demon Slayer Island
  • Find the Dungeon NPC
  • Use Dungeon Tickets to enter

Dungeon Tickets are dropped from most bosses in the game, so if you’ve been grinding bosses, you may already have some saved up. Inside the dungeon, you’ll need to clear waves of enemies. Completing the dungeon rewards you with Kafka materials, which you can exchange at the NPC.

Kafka comes with a strong and smooth moveset focused on consistent damage. Her abilities are fast and effective, making her a great choice for both farming and boss fights. When paired with the right accessories, her damage output becomes even better. Overall, Kafka is a solid pick if you prefer reliable DPS and straightforward gameplay.

How to Get Herta in Fusion Piece

Fusion Piece Kafka & Herta Guide, How to Get Them!

Herta is obtained differently compared to Kafka. Instead of crafting her, you need to summon her from the banner system.

Steps to Unlock Herta

  • Go to Fusion Town
  • Find the Banner NPC
  • Use Banner Tokens to summon

Each summon costs 5 tokens, so you’ll need to farm a decent amount before pulling.

The main way to get Banner Tokens is by clearing the dungeon, meaning both Kafka and Herta are tied to the same core activity.

Herta offers a different playstyle compared to Kafka. Her moveset includes wide attacks and strong burst damage, making her effective in clearing groups of enemies quickly. She also scales well with accessories, especially those that boost damage output. If you prefer more flashy abilities and AoE damage, Herta is worth pulling.

Dungeon System Explained

The dungeon is the main content of this update and the key to unlocking everything. Dungeon Structure:

  • Total of 5 waves
  • Early waves feature fake Kafka and fake Herta
  • Final waves include the real Kafka and Herta

By completing all waves, you’ll receive:

  • Kafka materials
  • Banner Tokens

This makes the dungeon the most efficient place to farm both characters at the same time.

Relics and Relic Mastery System

This update also introduces a new Relic system, which adds another layer of progression. How to Get Relics:

  • Dropped from dungeons
  • Different drop rates depending on difficulty

There are also craftable relics, which require more grinding but offer much stronger buffs.

Relic Mastery

Relic Mastery can be accessed through advanced stats. This system enhances your character further, making relics more valuable the more you invest in them. If you’re aiming for endgame builds, this system becomes very important.

The Kafka and Herta update adds a strong loop of grinding and progression through the dungeon system in Fusion Piece. Everything connects—materials, tokens, relics—which makes farming feel more rewarding. If you focus on dungeon runs and manage your resources properly, you can unlock both characters without wasting time. Both Kafka and Herta are strong in their own ways, so getting them early will give you a big advantage moving forward.
