Step 1: Forgotten Celestial Koi
This is where everything begins, and it already requires some effort. To start, you need to catch a Celestial Koi from Atlantis. This fish is located inside a locked room that can only be accessed by solving a puzzle. Once inside, you’ll need to fish for a mythic-tier catch.
However, getting the normal version isn’t enough. You need the “Forgotten” variant, which means applying a special condition like ruin effects while fishing. This part can take time depending on your setup and luck. After obtaining it, head to Sunstone Island, go to the back area, and wait for the Starfall event. Use the fish during this event to unlock the next quest stage.
Step 2: Owls on the Night Watch
This stage introduces both item farming and environmental conditions. First, you need a Lunar Moonstone. To get it, you must trigger meteor events and hope for the correct drop. Once you have it, you must appraise it into the Lunar version, otherwise it won’t work for the quest. Next, go to Boreal Pines and climb toward the arch above the green cabin. The conditions here are important:
- It must be night
- The area must be foggy
If needed, use a smokescreen totem to force the fog. Once everything is ready, equip the Lunar Moonstone and a shadow figure will appear. Interact with it to move forward.
Step 3: Shadows of Nobody There
This part focuses on catching a very specific fish. You need to catch a Translucent Baby Bloopfish, and it cannot be traded. You must catch it yourself.
To get the translucent version:
- Use a rod with Ghastly enchant
