The newest update in Cookie Run: Kingdom finally introduced Timekeeper Cookie, and a lot of players are wondering if it is actually possible to unlock her without spending money. The good news is that free-to-play players can collect enough Clockwork Cogs during the event period to guarantee a free copy of the cookie.

How to Get All Free Clockwork Cogs From the Shop
One of the easiest rewards to miss is inside the Best Deals section of the shop. The Arcana of Truth and Deceit relay package gives players 200 Clockwork Cogs and 10 Time Jumpers completely free. Since it costs nothing, every player should claim it immediately after logging in.
Another important source is the Daily Clockwork Cog Gift. The shop event lasts for 42 days from May 6 until June 17, and players can collect rewards every day during that period. By claiming the daily reward consistently, you can earn a total of 1,680 Clockwork Cogs. Missing days here can slow your progress, so daily logins are important if you want the free copy as early as possible.

3. Daily Login Event Rewards
The daily login event gives additional Clockwork Cogs simply for entering the game every day. On Day 7, players receive 300 Clockwork Cogs, while another 300 can be claimed on Day 14.

The Arcana of Truth and Deceit story event is one of the biggest sources of Clockwork Cogs in the entire update. Completing missions tied to the new story content rewards players with 1,900 Clockwork Cogs.
More missions are expected to unlock later during the event, which means the final total could become even higher. Players who enjoy story content should prioritize these missions early since they provide large amounts of currency in a short amount of time.
6. Arcade Arena Challenge Rewards
The Arcade Arena Challenge event also offers several ways to earn rewards. Completing 50 battles during Season 1 gives 200 Clockwork Cogs, while another 200 can be earned from Season 4 Super Clash battles.
In addition to that, the Arcade Arena Shop allows players to buy Timekeeper Cookie Soulstones using Arcade Arena Coins. Players can purchase two Soulstones per season, and with four total seasons available, that adds up to eight free Soulstones.
These Soulstones are extremely valuable because they help reduce the number of pulls needed to unlock the cookie.
7. Cookie Chat Friend Guide Missions
The Cookie Chat event includes several small missions tied to the new social feature. Completing all available tasks rewards players with 300 Clockwork Cogs.
The missions themselves are fairly easy and can usually be finished quickly, making this one of the simplest ways to earn extra currency during the update.
8. Clockwork Cogs Event Missions
The Clockwork Cogs event is easily the largest source of free currency. Players receive four daily missions every day during the 28-day event period. Completing these daily tasks over the full duration rewards a massive 4,760 Clockwork Cogs.
There are also several permanent missions available inside the same event tab. Completing all mission groups and the final completion objective grants another 4,850 Clockwork Cogs.
Combined together, this single event provides over 9,000 Clockwork Cogs, making it the most important activity for free-to-play players.
9. Exploration Logbook Rewards
The Arcana of Truth and Deceit exploration logbook contains even more rewards tied to world exploration progress. Players can earn a total of 8,000 Clockwork Cogs by completing exploration objectives.
On top of that, the logbook also gives 10 Timekeeper Cookie Soulstones. These rewards are limited to the event period, so players only have 28 days to claim them before they disappear.
If you are aiming for the free copy as quickly as possible, finishing exploration content should be one of your highest priorities.
10. Gacha Bonus Rewards
Even the Clockwork Cogs Gacha itself gives additional rewards. Pulling 50 times rewards players with 1,000 extra Clockwork Cogs, while reaching 200 pulls gives one additional Timekeeper Cookie Soulstone.
Although this reward is smaller compared to the other events, it still helps push players closer to the guaranteed unlock.
