The latest update in Fisch completely changes how progression works with the arrival of the Statue of Sovereignty expansion. Players can now explore a newly opened cave beneath the statue, unlock Keeper powers, upgrade Keeper Levels, and use powerful Sovereign Relics to create Keeperbound fishing rods.
This update is much bigger than a normal content patch because it introduces an entirely new progression path tied to rituals, weather events, relic farming, and special rod enhancements. On top of that, several quality-of-life changes and enchantment improvements were also added to make grinding much smoother for both new and veteran players. Here is everything included in the Fisch Sovereign Update.

New Fisch Code
The update added a brand-new redeem code for free rewards.
Sovereign
Players should redeem the code quickly before it expires in future updates.
Statue of Sovereignty Update Explained
The biggest part of the update revolves around the Statue of Sovereignty. Excavation beneath the statue has opened a hidden side cave near the Keeper’s Altar, revealing an ancient power source connected to the Keepers.
Inside this area, players can begin the brand-new Keeper progression system by meeting the Keeper Warden. The altar’s unstable power is becoming increasingly dangerous, and players must help stabilize it through quests, rituals, and fishing activities.
This new area also unlocks several important mechanics including Keeper Levels, Sovereign Weather events, and Keeperbound rods.
Keeper Level System Guide
The update introduced a completely new leveling system called Keeper Levels. Players can increase their Keeper Level by helping the Keeper Warden and completing progression-related activities.
As players level up, they gain deeper access to the altar’s power and increase how many Keeperbound rods they can safely use at the same time.
Currently, the maximum Keeper Level is 5, although the developers already hinted that more levels may arrive in future updates.
How to Get Keeper XP
Players can gain Keeper XP through:
- Keeper Warden quests
- Repeatable Keeper tasks
- Fishing activities tied to the altar
- Sovereign-related progression
Because many systems in the update depend on Keeper progression, leveling this system early is highly recommended.
Sovereign Relic Guide
Sovereign Relics are one of the most important new items in the update. These rare relics can now be obtained while fishing anywhere in the game, although the drop rate is much higher during Sovereign Weather events.
The relic is extremely valuable because it is required to begin Keeper Rituals and power Keeperbound rods.
Best Way to Farm Sovereign Relics
The fastest farming method is fishing during Sovereign Weather events, especially inside Sovereign Beams that appear across the ocean. These beams provide boosted Sovereign Relic chances and can also contain rare Sovereign-mutated fish.
Players farming for endgame upgrades should prioritize these weather events whenever they appear.
Keeperbound Enchanting Explained
Keeperbound Enchanting is the main endgame mechanic added in the update. Players can use Sovereign Relics at the Keeper’s Altar to transform fishing rods into Keeperbound rods.
These rods gain special effects and stronger abilities depending on which relic combinations are used during the ritual process.
Important Keeperbound Features
- Different relic combinations affect the final rod bonuses
- Keeperbound rods lose power over time
- Rod power can be restored through several methods
- Players can toggle Keeperbound power on or off through the Keeper Warden
This system adds much more customization compared to standard enchantments and gives players new ways to optimize their fishing builds.
How to Restore Keeperbound Power
Since Keeperbound rods slowly drain power during use, players need to recharge them regularly.
Ways to Restore Power
- Using additional relics
- Landing perfect catches
- Fishing during Sovereign Weather
- Fishing inside the Enchanted Crevice
Managing rod power properly is now an important part of long-term progression.
Sovereign Weather Events Guide
The update added three new Sovereign Weather events:
- Sovereign Surge
- Sovereign Storm
- Sovereign Reckoning
These weather effects can occur together with normal weather conditions and are more likely to appear after players use the Keeper’s Altar.
During these events, giant Sovereign Beams appear across the ocean. Fishing inside these beams increases the chance of obtaining Sovereign Relics and rare mutated fish.
Because these events are tied directly to Keeper progression, many players are expected to spend large amounts of time hunting for active beams.
Enchanted Crevice Location & Purpose
Another major addition is the Enchanted Crevice beneath the Statue of Sovereignty. This newly breached area plays a huge role in Keeper progression.
Fishing inside the crevice helps awaken the altar’s first pillar while also restoring Keeperbound power. This location is also connected to stronger Keeper Ritual progression later on.
Players aiming for the best Keeperbound builds should spend plenty of time farming inside this area.
Keeper Warden Quests & NPCs
The update introduced several new NPCs, including the Keeper Warden and miners affected by the altar breach.
The Keeper Warden serves as the main progression NPC for the update. Players can complete quests for this character to gain Keeper XP and unlock additional progression rewards.
Repeatable tasks were also added, allowing players to continuously grind Keeper Levels over time instead of relying only on one-time quests.
New Quest Relic & Invincible Changes
The Apprentice Archaeologist at Ancient Isle now offers access to a brand-new relic tied to the Invincible enchantment.
Previously, Invincible was part of Cosmic Relics, but the update removed it from that pool and moved it into this new dedicated relic instead. Invincible still functions as a Secondary Enchantment after the change.
This adjustment should make the enchantment easier to target compared to older RNG-heavy methods.
Enchant Altar Improvements
The developers also improved the enchantment system significantly.
New Enchanting Changes
- Better RNG for enchantment rolling
- Reduced need for hundreds of relics
- Faster cooldown between enchantments
- Improved confirmation visuals
This is one of the most useful quality-of-life updates because players previously had to waste huge amounts of resources chasing specific enchantments.
Weather Improvements
Several older weather systems also received buffs and adjustments.
Eclipse Weather
- Now grants +4 Disturbance
Starfall Weather
- Grants +10% True Progress Speed
- Increased Nova mutation chance
- Increased Cosmic Relic chances from Fallen Stars
In addition, Fallen Stars containing Cosmic Relics now create massive beams of light visible from long distances, making them easier to locate while exploring.
Equipment Bag Improvements
The Equipment Bag system also received several improvements designed to reduce inventory management frustration.
New Features
- Better overall performance
- New sorting options
- Improved organization systems
The developers confirmed more inventory improvements are planned for future updates as well.
Future Fisch Updates
The developers also teased several upcoming features planned for future patches.
Upcoming Content
- The Shady Bazaar
- Clans
- Aquarium Customization
- Fischfest 2
According to the announcement, Fischfest 2 is expected to become the biggest limited-time event the game has ever received.
The Sovereign Update feels like one of the most important progression expansions Fisch has released so far. Between Keeper Levels, Keeperbound rods, Sovereign Relics, and the new weather systems, the game now has far more depth for long-term players.
The addition of the Keeper Warden and the Enchanted Crevice also gives players a more structured endgame path compared to older updates. Meanwhile, the enchantment improvements finally reduce some of the heavy RNG frustration that many players struggled with previously.
Players who want to stay ahead should start farming Sovereign Relics early, level up their Keeper progression, and take advantage of Sovereign Weather events whenever they appear.
