The Secret of the Statue update added one of the biggest new locations ever introduced in Fisch, known by many players as the Sovereign Area. This underground zone contains the new Keeper systems, Sovereign Relics, altar enchantments, Keeper XP progression, and the Enchanted Crevice fishing area.
Because the update does not clearly explain where everything is located, many players are struggling to even find the entrance. Thankfully, accessing the Sovereign Area is actually fairly simple once you know where to look and how the quest system works. This guide explains where the Sovereign Area is located, how to unlock it, and what players can do once inside.
Where is the Sovereign Area in Fisch?
The Sovereign Area is located near Moosewood, close to the Statue of Serenity and the Keeper’s Altar region added in the update. To reach the area:
- Travel near Moosewood
- Head toward the Statue of Serenity area
- Look for the newly opened pathway
- Enter the underground cave entrance
- Continue deeper until you find the portal
Once inside, you officially enter the Sovereign underground zone. The area was unlocked as part of the Secret of the Statue update after the “Statue of Sovereignty” awakened.
How to Unlock the Sovereign Area
At first, players may notice that certain pathways and elevators appear locked. To fully unlock progression inside the Sovereign Area, you must complete the Keeper Warden questline. Inside the underground cave, speak to the Keeper Warden NPC. He gives players their first objective related to the mining accident caused by the breach. Your first quest is to help injured miners scattered throughout the cave system.
How to Complete the Keeper Warden Quest
The quest itself is fairly straightforward but requires exploring multiple sections of the underground area. To complete the quest:
- Search the cave carefully
- Find every injured miner NPC
- Speak to each miner
- Confirm they are safe
- Continue until all miners are rescued
Some miners are located deeper inside side tunnels, so make sure you fully explore the cave before returning.
Once all miners are accounted for, head back to the Keeper Warden to complete the mission.
What Happens After Completing the Quest?
After finishing the questline, players receive their first Sovereign Relic along with access to the new Keeper systems. This unlocks several new mechanics, including:
- Keeper XP progression
- Keeper Levels
- Keeper Bound rods
- Sovereign rituals
- Altar enchantments
- Enchanted Crevice fishing
The Sovereign Area essentially acts as the main hub for all new update content.
