Uryu A Universal Time Guide, How to Get & Master!
A Universal Time Update 5.7 added one of the most requested Bleach-inspired abilities in the game, Uryu, also known as Sternritter A: Antithesis. This new Legendary ability comes with powerful ranged attacks, transformation skills, and several mastery upgrades that make it one of the strongest additions in the current meta.
However, unlocking Uryu is not as simple as using a single item. Players first need to obtain Quincy, level up mastery, survive a special timer requirement, and increase their Spiritual Level before attempting the transformation. Here is the full step-by-step guide on how to get Uryu in AUT.
Step 1 – Get Quincy First
Before unlocking Uryu, players must first obtain the Quincy ability. Quincy acts as the base progression path for Sternritter A: Antithesis. To get Quincy, you need to craft an item called Yhwach Blood. Yhwach Blood Crafting Recipe, You need:
- 1 Tales of the Universe
- 1 Million uCoins
After crafting Yhwach Blood, use it on any ability except Uryu. Doing this will replace your current ability with Quincy.
Step 2 – Increase Quincy Mastery
Once you obtain Quincy, the next step is leveling mastery. Uryu cannot be unlocked unless you reach at least Mastery Level 2. The current mastery farming method is very simple. Defeat Soul Reaper NPCs to gain mastery points.

Because mastery grinding takes some time, many players farm large groups of Soul Reapers continuously to level faster.
Step 3 – Raise Your Spiritual Level
Besides mastery, players also need Spiritual Level 2 or higher before attempting the Uryu unlock process. Spiritual Level is important because it increases your overall chance of successfully obtaining Uryu. The unlock chance is based on:
- Mastery Levels
- Spiritual Levels
Maximum bonuses include:
- Up to 60% from Mastery
- Up to 40% from Spiritual Levels
When fully upgraded, players can reach a guaranteed 100% unlock chance.
Step 4 – Stay Alive for 30 Minutes
One of the biggest requirements for unlocking Uryu is the survival timer. Players must:
- Use Quincy for 30 minutes without dying
This is extremely important because dying resets the timer completely. Many players accidentally lose progress by entering PvP or difficult boss fights too early. The safest strategy is farming weaker enemies or staying in secure areas until the timer finishes.
Step 5 – Use Auswahlen
After completing all requirements:
- Mastery Level 2+
- Spiritual Level 2+
- 30-minute survival timer
Use Auswahlen while using Quincy. If successful, your character will transform into Sternritter A: Antithesis, also known as Uryu.
Uryu Mastery Upgrades
After unlocking Uryu, players can continue improving the ability by using additional Yhwach Blood items. Each use increases mastery by one level.

Although the unlock process takes time due to the mastery grind and survival requirement, the final reward is worth it for players who enjoy Bleach-inspired gameplay and powerful late-game abilities. If you want the easiest path toward unlocking Uryu, focus on farming Soul Reapers early, avoid dying during the timer, and increase both mastery and Spiritual Levels before using Auswahlen.
