Fish It RNG Locker Guide – How to Get Locker Keys and All Rewards

The Classic Update Part 3 in Fish It added several new activities and collectibles, but one of the biggest highlights for many players is the new RNG Locker system. This feature gives players a chance to unlock free rod skins, bobbers, potions, Tix, and other useful rewards simply by collecting Locker Keys and opening lockers inside the game.

Since the entire system is based on luck, many players are currently searching for the best way to farm keys and understand which rewards are actually worth chasing. If you are confused about where to start, this guide explains how the RNG Locker works in Fish It, where to find it, and all possible rewards you can get.

Where to Find the RNG Locker in Fish It

To access the RNG Locker system, you first need to travel to Classic Island. After arriving there, head up the stairs until you find a building called Fish Skool. Walk inside the classroom and look toward the left side of the room. You will immediately notice several lockers lined up against the wall. These are the RNG Lockers that players can open using Locker Keys. There are currently two different locker types inside Fish Skool:

  • Blue RNG Lockers
  • Golden RNG Lockers

The blue lockers are completely free to open as long as you have Locker Keys, while the golden lockers require Robux.

How to Get Locker Keys in Fish It

Locker Keys are needed to open the regular blue lockers. Fortunately, there are multiple ways to get them without spending Robux.

Fish Inside the School Pond

One of the easiest methods is fishing in the small pond located inside Fish Skool itself. Simply equip your fishing rod and cast into the pond. Instead of catching fish every time, you also have a chance to pull up Locker Keys. The drop is random, so you may need several attempts before getting one. Still, this remains the main farming method for stacking large amounts of keys.

Talk to the Sleepy Principal NPC

Another important method is speaking with the Sleepy Principal NPC near the lockers. When you talk to him, he gives you a free Locker Key along with a Trade Index item. This reward is extremely useful for new players because the Trade Index can later be used at the Trading Plaza. Since the rewards are free, always talk to the Sleepy Principal whenever you visit Fish Skool.

Blue RNG Locker Rewards

The regular blue lockers offer several random rewards once you use a Locker Key on them. Some rewards are common, while others have much lower drop chances. Here are all currently known rewards from the Blue RNG Locker:

  • Cheesy Mouse Rod 2%
  • Glowing Dominus Bobber 3%
  • Doge Head 10%
  • Luck I Potion x2 15%
  • Mutation I Potion 18%
  • Pencil Lantern 20%
  • 500 Tix 32%

Most players will usually receive Tix or potions because they have the highest drop chances. Rare cosmetics like the Cheesy Mouse Rod and Glowing Dominus Bobber are significantly harder to obtain. Because the rewards are RNG-based, collecting more Locker Keys naturally improves your chances at landing rare items.

Golden RNG Locker Rewards

The Golden RNG Locker is a premium version that costs Robux to open. These lockers contain exclusive cosmetic rewards, including the limited Tellamonster Rod skin. Here are the available Golden Locker rewards:

  • Tellamonster Skin 5%
  • Tixlionare’s Choice 15%
  • Pencil Lantern 40%
  • Glowing Dominus 40%

The Tellamonster Skin is currently the rarest item available from the Golden Locker, making it the main reason many players spend Robux on the system.

Best Tips for Using RNG Lockers

Before opening any lockers, always speak to the Sleepy Principal first. The free Locker Key and Trade Index are basically free rewards that should never be skipped. After that, spend some time fishing inside the school pond to farm extra keys. The more keys you save, the better your chances of pulling rare cosmetics and rod skins later.

It is also recommended to open different numbered lockers instead of repeatedly using the same one. Every locker acts as its own separate random roll, so switching between them can make the overall experience feel less repetitive during long opening sessions.

Even though the RNG Locker system depends heavily on luck, it is still one of the better free reward systems added to Fish It so far, especially for players looking to collect cosmetics and useful items without spending too much Robux.
