Getting The Almighty is one of the longest and hardest questlines in Type Soul. Many players fail because the requirements are confusing, especially during the Schrift Mastery step. Some parts can even reset your progress completely if you make a mistake. This guide explains the full Almighty questline in a simpler way, including how the True Gift system works, all Schrift mastery quests, and important things you should avoid while progressing.
How to Get Your True Gift Type Soul
To begin the Almighty questline, you first need to unlock your “True Gift.” Your True Gift depends on the first available letter from your Roblox username.
For example:
- Username: DukeOfErisia
- First letter: D
- True Gift: Deathdealing
Type Soul checks your username letter by letter until it finds a Schrift available in-game. If the first letter does not match an existing Schrift, it skips to the next letter.
Example:
- Username: AAresurgence016
- A does not exist
- Second A also does not exist
- R exists
- True Gift becomes Royal
If your username starts with a number, Type Soul uses a special order:
- 0 = The Balance
- 1 = Butterfly
- 2 = Compulsory
- 3 = Deathdealing
After that, the list continues alphabetically until number 9.
There is also one important exception:
- If your username starts with B, your True Gift will always be Butterfly, not Balance.
Once you get your True Gift:
- Talk to the Balance NPC
- Choose “Give” when asked:
“Will you give or take from your fellow soldats?” - Keep talking to the NPC until he says:
“SHOW MASTERY OVER HIS GIFTS”
After that message appears, Step 2 officially begins.
One very important thing to remember is that you should NOT talk to the Balance NPC again immediately after getting this dialogue. Doing so can reset your quest progress.
You also do not need to repeat Step 1 again. Once the NPC gives the mastery dialogue, you can reroll safely and continue.
Schrift Mastery Quest Type Soul Guide
This is the hardest part of the Almighty questline. After the NPC says “Show mastery over his gifts,” you must reroll and complete every Schrift quest in alphabetical order, starting from Balance all the way to Zombie. For every Schrift:
- Get the Schrift
- Unlock Volt
- Complete its hidden challenge
- Return to the Balance NPC
If done correctly, the NPC will say: “NEXT GIFT IN ORDER”! That means the current Schrift is completed and you can move to the next one. However, if you talk to the NPC while using the wrong Schrift, your Almighty progress can reset all the way back to Step 1. There is also a chance some quests need to be completed multiple times before they register correctly. According to players and developer comments, some mastery checks may be random.
All Schrift Mastery Requirements
Balance – “Tip the scales in the right direction”
You need to hit 10 or more Soul Reapers at the same time using:
- T Move
- Damaging version of the G Move
The G Move must be held down, and you need “Order” active from landing the T Move first.
Requirements:
- Targets must be Elite Grade or higher
- Can be done in Schrift form
- May require multiple attempts
Butterfly – “Fly high, beautiful evolution”
Use the G Move on players 15 total times.
Important notes:

This can be completed in Schrift form.
Deathdealing – “Everything is lethal in this world”
Completely fill another player’s poison bar using Deathdealing skills.
This can be done in Schrift form.
Explode – “Another one bites the dust”
Hit multiple Soul Reapers or Arrancars with the C Move while in Voltstanding.
This quest is based on damage dealt, so stronger hits help.
Volt is required for completion.
Fear – “Everyone goes insane at some point”
You must max someone’s fear meter until they become stunned and hold their head.
Can be done in Schrift form.
Glutton – “Devour their souls”
Get around 10 to 20 Bankai or Segunda grips while using Voltstanding.
This requirement has been confirmed by players.

Use the T Move from a certain distance and force players to kneel 15 or more times.
Requirements:
- Must be done in Schrift
- Volt does not count
Iron – “Strong mind, strong body”
This quest seems to involve:
- Taking damage
- Blocking damage
- Dying multiple times
Exact numbers are still unknown.
Can be done in base form.
Miracle – “It won’t take 3 days this time”
Revive yourself 10 to 15 times while in Voltstanding.
Volt is required.
Nimble – “Don’t let them catch you”
Requirements include:
- Running around the map using the C Move in Volt
- Countering attacks with the T Move multiple times
Voltstanding is required.
Overkill – “Every soul gives power”
Max out your Overkill stats, then talk to the Balance NPC.
Older versions required True Schrift, but this may have changed.
Can be done in base form.
Power – “Catch them while they’re guarding”
Guard break 10 or more players using the Power Punch skill.
Can be completed in Schrift form.
Royal – “Pure royalty”
Land the C auto execute move on another player.
Current reports suggest Volt may be required.
Superstar – “Listen to the crowd”
Get cheered by James 10 or more times.
Important notes:
- Must be done in Schrift
- Volt does not count
- Use T or G in base to trigger cheers
Thunderbolt – “Let the thunder guide them”
Successfully land the T + G combo interaction on another player.
Can be completed in base form.
Visionary – “Multiply the power of imagination”
You need to hit large groups of enemies at the same time using different abilities, including:
- Space Vacuum
- Clones
- Meteor auto grip
- Water Prison
Most requirements involve hitting 10 to 15 Soul Reapers or Arrancars simultaneously.
Wind – “Split them in two”
Land the split move 3 times.
This is a Volt move requirement.
X-Axis – “Load…Aim…Fire”
Use Crit + T with the bow to knock a player.
There is also a small random chance for completion even without the knock.
You will know it worked if Crit + T starts auto executing enemies.
Can be completed in base form.
Zombie – “Become like them… then control their minds”
The requirement is still unknown at the moment.
Tips Before Starting the Almighty Questline
The Almighty questline can take a very long time because several quests depend on large group fights, Voltstanding, and multiple player interactions. It is much easier with friends or during busy server hours.
You should also double-check your current Schrift before speaking to the Balance NPC. Many players lose hours of progress because they accidentally talk to the NPC with the wrong Schrift equipped.
Another good idea is to prepare rerolls before starting Step 2 since you will need almost every Schrift in Type Soul. Having enough rerolls saved can make the process much faster.
Closing
The Almighty questline is easily one of the most difficult progression paths in Type Soul right now. Between the hidden objectives, strict Schrift order, and reset risks, it can become frustrating if you do not know what to do beforehand.
Still, once you understand how the system works, the grind becomes much more manageable. Take your time, keep track of your completed Schrifts carefully, and avoid talking to the Balance NPC with the wrong setup.
