Races are one of the most important systems in Wizard Alchemy because they give players special passive bonuses that can completely change how strong their character becomes. Some races improve movement speed, while others boost elemental damage, survivability, or attack power. Since rerolling races can take time and resources, many players want to know which races are actually worth using.

Currently, there are 10 races in Wizard Alchemy with different rarities ranging from Common all the way up to Legendary. While every race can work depending on your playstyle, some are clearly much stronger for farming, boss fights, and overall progression. This guide covers the full Wizard Alchemy race tier list along with the best races you should aim for.

Wizard Alchemy Tier List

S Tier Races

These are currently the strongest races in Wizard Alchemy. If you get one of these, you should honestly keep it unless future updates change the meta.

Ice Crystal

  • Epic (5%)

Buffs

  • Ice Elemental Damage: +20%
  • Maximum Health: +10%
  • Base Movement Speed: -2

Ice Crystal is currently one of the best races in the entire game because Ice builds are extremely strong right now. The extra Ice Elemental Damage makes your spells hit much harder, especially against stronger enemies and bosses.

Even though the race slightly lowers movement speed, the bonus damage and extra health easily make up for it. If you plan on running an Ice build, this is probably the best race you can get.

Undead

  • Rare (10%)

Buffs

  • Maximum Health: +30%
  • Skill Speed: +10
  • Survive fatal damage once every 180 seconds
  • Regenerates 30% HP after surviving

Undead is one of the strongest survival races in Wizard Alchemy. The huge health bonus alone makes it powerful, but the passive revive effect is what really makes this race stand out.

Being able to survive fatal damage during boss fights can save your runs and make farming much easier. This race is amazing for players who struggle against harder enemies like the Dwarf King or Mutant monsters.

A Tier Races

These races are still extremely strong and worth using for most players.

Fiendish Demon

  • Epic (5%)

Buffs

  • Fire Elemental Damage: +20%
  • Base Movement Speed: +2
  • Maximum Health: -10%

Fiendish Demon is basically the Fire version of Ice Crystal. The extra Fire damage is very strong for aggressive builds, and the movement speed bonus helps a lot while farming enemies around the map.

The only downside is the reduced health, which can make tougher fights slightly harder. Still, if you enjoy Fire Magic, this race is absolutely worth keeping.

Werewolf

  • Rare (10%)

Buffs

  • Maximum Health: +10%
  • Attack Power: +5
  • Base Movement Speed: +1
  • Jump Height: +10

Werewolf is one of the best all-around races in the game. It gives balanced offensive and defensive stats while also improving mobility.

This race works well for nearly every type of build and is especially good for beginners who want a strong race without depending on elemental magic.

Thestrals

  • Legendary (1%)

Buffs

  • TBA

Even though the official stats are still unknown, Thestrals is currently the rarest race in Wizard Alchemy. Because it is Legendary rarity, many players believe it will eventually become one of the strongest races in the game once its full abilities are revealed.

For now, most players keep it simply because of how difficult it is to obtain.

B Tier Races

These races are solid choices but usually get outperformed by higher-tier options later in the game.

Elf

  • Uncommon (15%)

Buffs

  • Base Movement Speed: +3
  • Jump Height: +10

Elf is great for mobility and exploration. The movement speed increase makes farming materials and completing quests feel smoother.

However, it lacks damage or defensive bonuses, which makes it weaker for boss fights and late-game progression compared to higher-tier races.

Tree Spirit

  • Uncommon (15%)

Buffs

  • Life Regeneration: x2
  • Maximum Health: +5%
  • Base Movement Speed: -2

Tree Spirit is a decent survival race for early progression. The regeneration effect can help newer players stay alive longer during farming. Unfortunately, the movement speed reduction hurts overall mobility, and the bonuses are not strong enough compared to better defensive races like Undead.

C Tier Races

These races are usable early on but usually should be rerolled later.

Human

  • Common (25%)

Buffs

  • No bonuses

Human is the default starting race in Wizard Alchemy. Since it provides no passive bonuses at all, most players reroll it as soon as possible.

It is fine for learning the game, but you will definitely want something stronger later.

Death Eater

  • Rare (10%)

Buffs

  • TBA

Right now, Death Eater does not have confirmed stats available. Until more information is released, it is difficult to properly rank it higher.

Stellar Ambassador

  • Epic (5%)

Buffs

  • TBA

Like Death Eater, Stellar Ambassador currently has unknown bonuses. Depending on future updates, this race could become much stronger later on.

How to Reroll Your Race in Wizard Alchemy

Every player starts as a Human race by default. If you want a different race, you will need to reroll. Here is how to reroll your race:

  1. Open the Stats menu at the top of the screen
  2. Click the Race option
  3. Use Race Rerolls

You can get Race Rerolls from codes, rewards, or the in-game shop.

Races make a massive difference in Wizard Alchemy, especially once you start fighting stronger enemies and crafting powerful elemental potions. While every race has its own advantages, Ice Crystal and Undead are currently some of the strongest overall choices in the game.

If you are lucky enough to pull an Epic or Legendary race early, it can seriously speed up your progression and make farming much easier. However, even balanced races like Werewolf can carry you through most of the game without problems.
