All New Relic Guide in Universal Tower Defense X Update 3

The newest update in Universal Tower Defense X did not only introduce fresh units and raids, but also added several powerful Relics and Exclusive Accessories that can completely change how certain characters perform in battle. Some of these new items provide massive damage boosts, while others improve buffs, status effects, and combo mechanics that were previously limited.

Because Relics are becoming more important for late-game content like Raids, Legend Stages, and Virtual Realm battles, understanding which relics are worth farming can help players build much stronger teams. New Story + Virtual Realm Relic Set

One of the newest relic sets added in the update comes from Story and Virtual Realm content. This set focuses heavily on status effects, burn damage, and increasing damage dealt to enemies affected by crowd control abilities.

Players using units that specialize in debuffs or burn effects will benefit the most from this relic set because it adds extra damage automatically during combat.

Accessory Effect

The accessory part of this relic set gives a powerful passive ability. Whenever the equipped tower applies a status effect to an enemy, it will also apply Burn damage equal to 30% damage.

This effect is extremely useful for units that constantly inflict stun, freeze, poison, slow, or other debuffs. Instead of relying only on their normal attacks, those units can now deal additional burn damage at the same time.

Top & Bottom Relic Effect

The Top and Bottom relic pieces focus on boosting damage after enemies are affected by Time Snail.

When an enemy gets hit with Time Snail, the unit gains a 40% damage increase for 20 seconds. This is a very strong temporary buff, especially during longer boss fights or difficult late-game waves.

Because the buff duration is fairly long, players can maintain consistent bonus damage if they use Time Snail effects frequently during battle.

Charlotte Lin-Lin New Raid Relic Set

The second new relic set comes from Raid content and is designed more for support and critical-hit focused units. This set can improve attack speed for nearby allies while also giving large damage boosts after landing critical attacks.For players building raid teams with heavy DPS setups, this relic set may become one of the strongest support options currently available.

Accessory Effect

The accessory effect lowers SPA for nearby units by 1% for every unit placed inside the relic holder’s range. The total reduction can stack up to 15%.

Since SPA reduction directly improves attack speed, this effect can greatly increase overall team DPS. Units that already attack quickly become even stronger when paired with this relic.

Support-focused players will likely prioritize farming this relic set because of how useful attack speed buffs are in difficult content.

Top & Bottom Relic Effect

The Top and Bottom relic pieces activate after landing a Critical Hit.

Once the unit lands a crit attack, its damage increases by 45% for 20 seconds. However, there is a 10-second cooldown before the buff can activate again.

This relic works best on units with naturally high crit chance or fast attack rates. In long battles, the damage increase can stay active very frequently, making it one of the stronger offensive relic effects in the current update.

Nellee – Nel’s Spear Accessory

Nellee received a brand-new Exclusive Accessory called Nel’s Spear Accessory. Players can purchase this item from the Hollowed Eclipse Raid Shop.

This accessory massively upgrades Nellee’s performance and completely changes how the unit behaves during combat.

Main Effects

The accessory immediately grants +200% damage, making Nellee far stronger than before. However, the special passive effects are what truly make this accessory stand out.

Once Nellee activates “Spiritual Compression,” the unit permanently remains in adult form for the rest of the battle. This removes the need to repeatedly transform and allows players to maintain maximum power consistently.

The “Raging Persistence” buff also becomes much stronger, increasing to 300% while no longer losing damage after attacks. On top of that, the unit gains “Baby Cheerleader” while staying in adult form, increasing the support buff to 50%.

Overall, this accessory turns Nellee into both a strong DPS unit and a powerful support option at the same time.

Spade – Flaming Donut Accessory

Spade also received a new Exclusive Accessory called Flaming Donut Accessory. Players can obtain this item from Marine Base Act 1 Legend Stage.

Compared to other accessories, this one is simpler but still extremely effective for burn-focused builds.

Main Effects

The accessory increases Burn damage by 50% while also granting +100% damage overall.

Because Spade already performs well with burn-based attacks, the extra burn scaling allows the unit to deal much higher damage over time against bosses and tougher enemies.

Players using burn teams will likely want to prioritize farming this accessory as soon as possible.

Rohan & Robot 16 – Rohan Cape Accessory

Rohan & Robot 16 gained a powerful Exclusive Accessory called the Rohan Cape Accessory. This item can be obtained from The Invasion Legend Stage Act 3.

This accessory focuses heavily on improving combo mechanics and reducing the drawbacks tied to the unit’s negative buffs.

Main Effects

The accessory lowers the negative buff penalty by 20%, making the unit easier to use in long battles. It also increases the maximum damage cap gain by 30%, allowing Rohan & Robot 16 to scale much higher during fights.

One of the strongest bonuses is the improvement to “Red Combo.” The chance for combo chains increases by 20%, while the fifth attack in the combo deals 75% more damage.

Additionally, follow-up damage increases by another 20%, alongside a flat +100% damage boost.

Because of these upgrades, the Rohan Cape Accessory significantly improves both consistency and burst damage output.
